Problem with disboards website?

Just noticed this today. Whenever I go to disboards I find it taking me somewhere else to an advertisement shortly after. I don't click on anything to get there it just goes to random ads for different things like Good Housekeeping magazine. Is anyone else having this happen to them? I ignored it the first few times it happened but now it is getting annoying. It only happens on disboards.

You may have inadvertently installed adware on your PC. You can go to your browsers add-on manager to disable the adware. Or you can uninstall the adware by going to your programs manager on your control panel.

Same problem on my ipad and macbook (using safari and firefox). No issue on my dell using chrome.

Same with my iPad! I have no idea how to install/uninstall on this thing. It will happen whe. I click on "new posts" or even on a thread title. Very very annoying!

Glad to know it's not just me and that they are working on it. It got so bad going to disboards using chrome that I switched over to foxfire. It wasn't letting me go anywhere on disboards. Just the ads kept coming up. Very annoying since it wouldn't let you just click back. You had to go and put disboards in again. It has gotten progressively worse. Hope they can fix it soon.

It happens to me on the app, too. I get redirected to the app store, usually to the screen for the Gilt app or a couple of others (Brave Frontier? and something else).

I have not had any trouble on my laptop.

I have the problem using the google chrome browser on my laptop but the site works fine using internet explore.

Does the same thing happen when you visit other websites? Or is it just a problem when you browse disboards? If the problem also happens when visiting other websites, then you got a problem. You'll have to ID the adware and remove it from your pc

Just Disboards, and it happens on Chrome and my ipad. It makes this site unusable. Right now I'm using IE to post.

Me too! I have an iPhone 4, so I just thought it was an updating issue since I haven't updated in forever.

hmmm, strange. Im not having any issues on my windows 7 laptop and firefox browser and I dont have any protection but norton. Wednesday I surfed the dis on my macbook without any issues

I'm having the same issue, too. But just in Chrome. IE is working for me (for now). Glad to know I didn't get a virus or something

I'm betting that some folks have downloaded adware, unbeknownst to them, and is now resident on their pc/device. Legit programs that Norton nor McAfee will detect.
