problem with Ding!

I have tried to download Ding, and the icon appears on my computer screen, but when I click on it , the only thing that happens is it tells me to download it. I follow the prompts, but still nothing! What am I doing wrong? HELP!!!

Did you install it after you downloaded it?

I clicked on the logo, it went to installation setup, and I put in the installationID #, but after that, it just sits there. It says the system will verify the ID, but it does nothing!
