Problem with 10 day ticket over New Year

Has anyone ever had a problem using the 10 day ticket issued to UK residents. We recently got back from Orlando but my sister had an unpleasant experience trying to use it on their last day. They definitely used only 8 days but when they tried to go to Magic Kingdom on their last day, the gatekeeper told them they had used them all up. They weren't due to expire until 8th Jan and this was on 3rd. My sister has tried emailing Disney because they didn't want to make a fuss in front of their daughter on their last day and so they stumped up for single day tickets. This really pushed their budget to the limit. Anyway, still no response from Disney and it's so expensive to call even if you are lucky enough to get through. Does anyone have any advice or experience of this?

Can you park hop on those tickets? Did they? Customer service can look in the computer and see exactly how many days the tickets were used and where.

Im sure your sister is correct in her calculations, but just check that she didnt do Pleasure Island, Disney Quest or any of the water parks. Even an hour's entry into one of these would use a day of her pass. It is a common misconception that the days refer only to the 4 main parks and the other smaller ones dont count as days off the ticket. Im sure it is possible for Disney to be able to tell where and when a ticket was used, so definately chase it up.

We did go to Disney Quest but were under the impression that they were part of the two "pluses". Did we misunderstand that? ie We were only eligible for 8 entries if we used 2 at Disney Quest. We thought that it was 10 plus 2.

I might be wrong, but I thought the 10 day ticket could be used as many times as you liked over a 10 day period, in as many parks as you liked, for example if you wanted to do Disney quest every evening then you could.

We have used the 10 day world ticket, if this is the one you are refering to on our last two trips, and it has been unlimited entry to all Disney parks, Water parks, downtown disney, disneyquest and wide world of sports.

This all has to be done over a 10 day period of course, so if you used it to go to Disneyquest twice without going to any other parks on that day, then as Allie states they would count as 2 days of use.

Hope you get this sorted.

Looks like we've been stung by lack of info. Our ticket issuers didn't make it clear and the worst thing is we spent only around 2 hours in Disney Quest each time, thinking that we may as well use the "plus" part of the ticket. What a waste - even if we had spent a few hours there but we were literally killing time and hardly used any of the Quest attractions. An expensive and hard lesson. We didn't receive any restrictions with our tickets and thought we understood what they said on the website. I guess the moral of the story is - always read the very small print because it was an expensive mistake. We still had a great time though and our last ever visit because it's so expensive might not be the last visit after all!

As others have said - there is no 'plus' on the 10 day tickets - not sure why your ticket issuer would have told you that

iirc The 10 day world tickets entitle you to 10 days entry (to any park - not just the main ones) over a 21 day period :)

The good thing is that now the tickets are for 14 or 21 days. That should make things easier for people in the future.
