problem using DVC website

Has anyone had problems logging into the DVC's new website? I had not logged on for months now, and when I tried to the other day I had to re-do my registration. I called MS and they told me that they had a problem with people who used an email address as user, and that I had to re-register. They gave me a new pin and I completed the registration process again. Now, when I enter my username and password I am continuously brought back to the login screen. I know it is accepting my info because I get a security box that pops up telling me I am being redirected, but then I am brought back to the same screen. I even verified that my password I was using was correct. I called MS and they told me this was a bug that some users were experiencing, and they have not yet come up with a fix for it. They took down my email address and said they will contact me once it is corrected.

I am not holding my breath! I have been on the website before so I dont understand why this is happening now (ever since I had to re-do my registration). I am leaving on a trip in a couple of weeks and wanted to check on some things on the site but cant.

Has anyone else had this problem, and do you know of a fix for it?

I have been brought back to the log in screen. I just put my member info back in and it goes through on the second try. This happens just about every time I go to the "official" site.

Clear your cache and make sure you are set up to accept cookies. If that doesn't work, call back to MS.

I tried deleting cookies and deleting my history. Is this what you mean by cache? If so, that didnt work. I still cant get logged on. And unfortunately MS has told me they dont know how to fix this.

No matter what I try, I can't get back on either....you're not alone.

I called MS Tech support option #4 on the telephone. They said if you are trying to log in and it brings you back to the log in screen (looping) you need to call them so they can fix the problem. He said it would take a couple of days to fix the problem.

I guess it isn't just me!

I was having the same problem on Friday afternoon. Got through to MS on the first ring, and they confirmed that a techie would have to look into the problem. Tried again today and it's working just fine.
