PROBLEM: Dining reservations issue

My best friend backed out on us today for money reasons and is not going with us to DW. All our deluxe dining plan reservations were for 6 people...now it's just for 4. Will I lose my spot to all my favorite restaurants because I'm changing the number of people dining? I'm devastated! Please help.

Phone and see if you can change any of them to 4 people. Especially any that you gave your Credit Card #.

If you can't change some and really still want that restaurant, then just show up with the 4 and tell them the other 2 people aren't coming. I did this last year as my neighbours didn't always want to go. We might of had to wait a bit longer, but I don't recall any long waits.

Don't worry. When you are seated, they'll give you tables for 4, not 6. The larger table will go to a larger party.

I agree, unless there is a cc for your reservation, don't worry about it. We do this too. We often dine with several of our CM friends while in WDW and we generally make a few ADRs for 4 and they ask if they want to join us. Sometimes they can, but not always. When you show up, just tell the CM what your party size is now (we often apologize for the change) and it's never been a problem.
