I thought that if you didn't use your designated FP+ time that you lost it. Well earlier this week we did not use two of our times because we rode Everest early without a wait time and didn't want to walk all the way back over there. Well I was looking at the app later and it let me reschedule the FP for a later time even though it was a few after the time had expired. This may be a glitch but it worked then but I wouldn't trust it very often.

Not new info and not a glitch.

This is the way FP+ is designed.

Thanks for relating that it works for those who do not know about it.

Yep. One of the bullet points mentioned in the green link in my signature.

Can you just rebook the time for that particular attraction or can you pick another attraction entirely?

You can change it completely but it has to be within that same day, correct? You can't change it to another day, right?

Same day.
Same park.

I thought you could only change during the FP window, thanks for the heads up.

Wonder if by chance you didn't use your FPs at all for one park you could change completely. For example, I have AK Safari, Everest and dinosaur before noon. If I end up doing RD and it's not crowded so I do everything, can I use the passes later at a different park. That would be awesome

I think you can do that. I could be wrong.

You cannot (not at this time.) Whichever park you started at and booked your FP+ for is the park you are 'locked' into for that day (as far as FP+ is concerned.) Even if you just used one FP+ at MK and have two you don't want to use at MK and want to hop over to HS, too bad. You cannot get a FP+ for HS that day.

But it has been said they are addressing the park hopping thing.

Yeah, I think you can switch parks to use your FP's in if you don't use any of them. If you have not used any of the FP's in the park you go to first, you should still have 3 FP's available to use for the day. I don't see why you'd be locked into anything if you haven't even used one FP so far. I don't think you are locked into a park and it's rides until you use that first FP+. That's part of the flexibility of the FP+ I thought, being able to change things up on the day of, dependent on availability.

But that would still give you only 3 FP+ for that day though, right? Not 6? So say they didn't use any of the FP+ for their AK day and rebook it for say, MK the next day...a day that they already have 3 FP+ previously booked. They still only get 3 FP+ for the next day at MK, not 6, correct? If that's the case, wouldn't that essentially mean you wasted or lost 3 FP+?

But if PP HASN'T used a single. FP+ that day! then they could change all of their reservations to a new park.

Correct. You cannot save them to use the following day on top of the 3 FP's you'd get. If you don't use them by the end of the day, they are gone.

Yes, only 3 FP+ per day, you can't roll them over into the next day. You don't use them each day, you lose them. So, yep, if you don't use your allotted 3 per day, those were wasted, in a sense. I mean, if you really didn't need them anyway, it doesn't matter too much. But if you could have used them, but didn't for some reason, and they would have been a valuable addition to your day, then that sorta stinks. But I like you're thinking better, of rolling them over to the next day, lol! :goodvibes
