I don't 100% "get" the whole FP+ thing. Is there a time in which you can't prebook FP? Like if I'm at one park one day, can I prebook for the next day or is there a time at which you switch to ONLY being able to get FP in the park?

I feel old because I'm in the whole "I wish it was like it used to be mode." lol

Thanks y'all!

Onsite - you can book 60 days in advance for your whole trip
Offsite - you can book 30 days in advance (day by day)

You can always book or change fastpasses through the website or App (even same day). All Fastpasses must be at one park for each day.

Mesaboy2's thread is the best explaining this: http://www.disboards.com/threads/fa...ed-priorities-and-strategies-part-ii.3326057/ I would read this for a whole lot more info and better explanation!

I know about the 60 and 30 day advance bookings, I guess what I'm trying to say is, say you only booked 2 FP at the 60 day mark. Can you "prebook" a FP the day before or is the "window" shut at a certain time?

This process is slightly confusing. Thanks for your help

Personally, I would book 3 fastpasses for every day even if you don't plan to use one of them. Then when you're at the park you can always change the 3rd one to something else via smartphone or at a FP+ kiosk. I'm not sure if the system still works this way but I believe in the past if you only booked 2 FP+ it was hard or impossible to then add a 3rd later.

ETA: If you have 3 fastpasses booked on a day you can always change them online, on the app, or at a kiosk even the day of your visit. I find changing via the App to be the easiest.

I don't think the system will let you book less than 3.

Always book 3 FPs for each day of park visits. You can Modify them at anytime including the day you are actually in the park.

It's like having 3 paper FPs and you can trade them out for any ride that is still available. If you limit yourself to 2 FPs, that's all you'll have to "trade."
