For the Epcot Food & Wine Festival, can anyone buy food or drinks from all the different kiosks? As in, if I'm passing by & decide I want to impluse buy a snack, can I or do I have to purchase a special kind of card or something? I don't want really buy anything extra, or do any of the other extras during the festival, but it'd nice to buy a snack or two I felt like it.

You don't need anything else but for alcohol you might want to bring your ID depending on how old you look

All food booths are available for everyone with Epcot entry. Each item is priced about $5- $8 dollars. As stated you need to be 21 to purchase alcohol.

They do sell "Food & Wine" gift cards that you can wear on your wrist with a little coil strap. They are smaller than normal gift cards, but they work just the same. I like to use a gift card because it makes the transactions faster. The CMs appreciate it too. They are not necessary though and all the booths take cash, credit cards, Magic Bands, and gift cards as payment.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't they card everybody, for every alcohol purchase, every time, no questions asked? I haven't been there in 10 years so I honestly don't remember.

My DH and I were there last October (in our 50's) and we were not proofed.

Some places outside WDW do have a policy of carding everyone, no matter how old they are. But WDW does not do this. I'm in my 60s,vand have never been carded. DD is in her 30s and has been carded frequently.

As an FYI for all international guests. You need to provide either your passport or a photocopy of your passport plus your drivers license as proof of age for alcohol purchases at WDW. A DL alone will not be accepted.

Here in Missouri, I rarely get carded - probably due to the gray hair in my beard. But when I go to visit fam in Illinois, I get carded every time. Especially at Walmart - they card everyone, no exceptions.

Last time we used DDP, we were also able to use DDP snack credits for some items. I can't speak to the current year, but in past years WDW offered a few freebies a the F&W booths. I think last we went, there weren't any freebies. Free alcohol had very LONG waits.

I also recall that some kiosks had short lines, and some had long lines. Lines were longest on weekends and in the evening. Lines for more unusual items remain relatively short, but lines for non exotic items (say: beer, Belgian waffles) get pretty long at peak times.
