Probably a stupid FP+ question - different check in dates

I check in Dec 1 and my parents check in Dec 2nd. My FP+ date is tomorrow but theirs won't be until the following day. I assume I cannot make FP+ reservations with me? Have to wait a day?

I've never done it because we stay off site but people have said as long as people are linked in your MDE and you have a resort reservation, as long as the others have valid tickets you can select their name when making FP selections, even though their not on the reservation with you.

Idk if that's 100% accurate, but when you go to select the FP's you might be able to select them too. If not though, when their window opens you can just copy your passes to them. All your FP's will more than likely still be available for the same time slots

I was not able to do that this past trip for any members of the party until their fastpass day came (trip was September). When their fastpass days came and any time I changed things around, i was able to select them but not until then. Good luck!

I think you may be able to select them. I was able to make a fastpass for my friend who has an active AP but was not linked to my hotel reservation. Worth a try!

Depends if their tickets are part of a package that beings on 12/2, or tickets that they bought elsewhere. You can make FP+ for anyone in your account with valid admission, but package tickets are not considered valid for the days prior to the package.

You really should be fine with selecting them for yourself and then waiting a day for them. They should be able to get within the same time window as yours.

For our past trip, we booked at 60 days out, then my brother and his girlfriend decided they wanted to come too - two weeks before we were set to leave!! We got all out FP's within 10 minutes of one another, except mine train. They got the same day, just later on.... and that was us booking 60 days in advance and them 2 weeks out... you're a day apart, so I think you will be fine!

Not true we are arriving on 10/31 and we have friends of ours arriving on 11/1. They are linked to my MDE account in my family and friends area. I was able to make FP+ selections for all of us on the days that we are going to be together, on my 60 day out date. I did speak to a cast member on the phone the week prior and for what it is worth, she told me that it does work for most people but that some have had problems. Hope it all works out for you and have a great trip !!!
