We got our pro pictures back from our destination wedding in Orlando! To all you ladies planning a destination wedding, especially in Orlando/Disney, you are going to love it! Hands down, best decision we ever made. It was so fun for us and our guests!

I guess I'll do a quick trip report with some highlights along with this... You can see a full trip report link at the bottom. I don't know how I am going to pick pictures for my album, we got over 1200 pictures! So obviously these are a few of them...

We opted to do our Disney/Orlando destination wedding not on Disney property. We originally were planning on having it on property, however, as beautiful as it is, plain and simple, the rules and regulations were just not for us. I give Disney on property brides a lot of credit, you have way more patience then I do!

Our wedding took place at the Marriott World Center Resort, which is about 1.5 miles from Disney. We arrived a few days prior to the wedding to get organized and things and as our guests arrived it was really fun to greet them and hang out around the hotel.

We had the fabulous Presidential suite at the hotel, which was amazing to for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in.

We spent our days after we got there before the wedding visiting Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure {it was actually our groomsmen gift to my brothers}, we spent a lot of time at the pool, and I spent a lot of time at the spa! At night we'd throw little parties in our room with our friends who made the trip down {we had just under 80 friends and family make the trip from all over!}.

Friday {the night before the wedding} we had a private dinner at Mikado's, the Japanese Hibachi Steakhouse at the Marriott with some family members.

Following dinner we headed up to one of the suite's we had rented at the Marriott where we threw a welcome dessert party for all our guests. We timed the dessert party to go along with the Epcot fireworks.

We had fruits, cupcakes in our wedding colors, and different cakes and sauces...

Our ceremony took place outdoors on the spa terrace:

Following the ceremony guests enjoyed a cocktail hour {finger foods and cocktails} in the lobby area of our ballroom where the escort card table and guest book was. Then they entered our ballroom, which we served breads, salad, main course {choice of chicken, pasta, steak} and dessert bars {sundae bar, chocolate and fruits, cakes, etc}, and of course wedding cake and dancing... The reception itself was 5 hours and was such a blast! Our DJ was amazing and the food {especially the steak} was incredible!

The next morning we held a private breakfast for all our guests at the Hawks Landing Steakhouse, which is another restaurant at the Marriott located on the golf course.

The following day Josh and I moved to the Wilderness Lodge Resort. We ended up not liking it there and then switched to the Yacht & Beach Club Resort {Beach Club side} and loved it. We spent 5 nights there, we visited Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. Our dinners: Planet Hollywood, Coral Reef, Narcoossee's, Cinderella's Royal Table, and Victoria & Alberts. Just a collection of pictures from Disney:

agreed, that is so cute!!!

I really love your venue, and with all your decor, it looks so stunning! Congratulations :rotfl:

Thank you! I was surprised by his reaction! I was like what did you expect me to look like that I shocked you that much?! :lmao:

Oh Wow, just lovely! I love you hair; I wasn't considering wearing it half up/down. Did you find it warm wearing your hair like that? My concern is always over heating and passing out. lol Thanks for sharing. It's great to see other off site options too :)

Thanks, it's funny you say that. I HATED my hair stylist. She said she worked for Disney but I don't believe her. My mom and I both hated our hair. It wasn't supposed to look like it did, it was supposed to be completely different. My hair also didn't stay the entire day. Anyway, to answer your question, no I wasn't warm like that at all. However, later on during the reception I was dancing a lot and got very warm. I had always pictured wearing my hair half up/half down cause I thought it was more belle-like :)

Hmm...Interesting. Okay well noted. :) I do see what you mean about the whole Belle appeal because it sure does have that. Thanks for sharing. :)

Please tell us who the hair lady was, so that myself and others don't use her!!!! I have to say, you look great in the photos, but if you didn't like the perons and neither did your mom, that really speaks volumes!

Her name was Eve, she claimed she works for Disney but I don't believe it. She was recommended by our planner... just stick to one of the companies that the ladies recommend on the board here, I wish I did!

I have to agree with this. I didn't use the same person you did but someone Disney recomended and not someone the boards did. It was awful. Sorry to hear you experienced it too.
