Anyone every order flowers from them before??? I never had but a local disc jockey endorses them and if you use his name on the discount code line of the on-line order form, you can get a 10% discount.
Well, Tuesday morning I got a call from a cousin in Alabama stating my uncle (mom's brother) had passed away. Then we are told the funeral is Wed at 2!
I decided to give Proflowers a try. I went on-line and it was really neat! You could see exactly what you were getting! I decided to order the Holiday Wreath so the family could keep it afterwards.
I called the toll free number before noon on Tues.. I told the gentleman I placed the order with that the funeral was at 2 the next day. He said "no problem" the order would be over nighted to arrive Wed.
So, I'm at work on Wed. and I get an e-mail from proflowers with the tracking information for the wreath. I immediately start checking the status. Everything is rolling along until around 11:00 am Wed morning. Then I noticed that UPS had changed the delivery date of Wed. to Friday, the 26th!!!
I called Proflowers back up. They said, since it was for a funeral and it wasn't going to get there on time they would cancel the order and give me a full refund. That was fine with me. At 11:30 am Wed. I scrambled to find a florist close to the funeral home. Luckily I found a sympathetic person and we did get another wreath delivered to the funeral home in time for the funeral.
Thursday, I went to my sister's for Thanksgiving. When we got home there was a message on the answering machine from my cousin in Alabama. The wreath had arrived and it was BEAUTIFUL!!! I immediately checked the UPS tracking status and, sure enough, it showed the wreath had been delivered!
Proflowers said they canceled the order and gave me a refund so the wreath is theirs to keep!
I will order again soon from Proflowers. I was very pleased with their customer service dept. I just wanted to pass this along and give them a big "Thumbs Up"!
