Other than the YOAMD pin lanyards & Mickey ears, if the prizes that are awarded specifically to a specific ride, seat, and time are due to be awarded to a minor could they be? What if you are with a child as a chaperone? I'm going with my DD on a school trip and am having so much fun imagining these dreams being awarded, the question occcurred to me out of curiosity. I'd hate to have to refuse a stay in the castle ;)

A minor can win the prizes, but their parents have to sign a waiver for them.

Last word I heard was that a minor child who's Legal Guardian is not traveling with them can not win the castle suite stay as a legal guardian must be present with them in the suite. But that would be the only prize in the scenario that you presented that they could not win. They have some rules though for minor children. If a minor child wins a prize that has to be redeemed that day (Tickets to the Halloween Party, Tickets to the Christmas Party, etc) they have 2 hours to locate their parents, if their parents are not on the trip with them, they can fax the form and have it sent back. If their parents can not be located (or fax the form) within the two hour window, the prize goes back into the computer to be reissued at a later time and place.

If they win a high level prize, like a vacation or DVC membership, they will be issued all the paperwork that is involved with the prize and they will have 14 days to be able to bring the paperwork home with them, have their parents look it over, sign everything and Fed Ex (Disney' pays for the fed ex) it back. If within 14 days the fed ex has not been returned, the prize goes back into the computer to be reissued at a new date and location.

I hope that helps :) Have fun on your trip :thumbsup2
