I did a search on this but want to just check I'm understanding correctly.

We have DDP for our next trip - are prix fixe options (e.g. Chefs do France etc) included in the dining plan?

We've had the DDP before but both times it was added last minute - this is the first time I'm actually getting to plan in advance!

Yes. I like to get the prix fixe option at Chefs when on regular dining plan so I can also have an app :) I also find the parade package at Tony's a good use of a credit for the same reason. The Fantasmic package at Mama Melrose used to be good, but it no longer includes an appetizer.

I have done the prix fixe option at Chefs many times, but for me personally it is not the best of the entree selections. I've learned just to go ahead and get the Grilled Beef Tenderloin, pick my dessert and pay OOP for the soup. Either way, you won't go wrong using DDP there. It's one of my favorite restaurants.

Thanks for pointing this out.

it seems like a good way to maximize credits!
On the regular Dining Plan choosing the prix fixe is a way of getting an appetizer included with your meal so it is ideal if you were planning to choose one of the included entrees. However, no substitutions are allowed so you have to choose from the appetizers and entrees listed on the prix fixe.

There are only a few restaurants with a prix fixe option and for some there is an additional surcharge when choosing it.
