Prix fixe menus on DDP

This is going to be our first time on the DDP (On Mickey's dime!!) Having spent several enjoyable nights in bed together.... reading the menus and picking some new ones to try, we started to wonder how you go about if you pick a prix fixe meal-we were looking at San Angel in particular-do we still have to pay for the appetizer?
We're not interested in " most bang for our buck"-as I said Mickey's footing most of the bill, bless his cotton gloves...

We always get prix fixe meals at Chefs de France and the appetizer is included with those meals. I love the FO soup, baked macaroni and cheese and profiteroles - yum!
I *believe* that it should work the same way at San Angel Inn (we have an ADR for the first time here this August).
BTW love it when Mickey's paying We are on Free Dining too!

If you choose the prix fixe menu at a restauarnt which has one (e.g. San Angel, Chefs de France) it will include the appetizer without an additional charge when using a dining plan credit. It is one of the few ways that an appetizer will be included when using a regular dining plan credit. Other places that I can think of where you will also get an appetizer when using DDP TS credits are the Fantasmic and Candlelight Dining Packages, at the dinner shows and at fixed price meals (e.g. CRT, Akershus)

Thanks for the quick replies-another question. We are looking at Via napoli-if we have the build your own pizza, how is that covered by the DDP-is it only a set number of toppings? or none at all?

VN is the strictest TS restaurant when using dining credits. For pizza, you can only order the individual sized pizza - either a signature or the build your own when using TS credits. For the build your own the TS credit only covers the basic pizza so any additional toppings would be out of pocket.

You cannot share (e.g. use one credit to feed 2 or more people) whether ordering pizza or an entree dish and you cannot combine credits to order a larger sized pizza at VN.
