Prix fixe menu at Chefs de France...

Refresh my memory please since I haven't been there since either 2010 or 2011.

Do we have to choose the prix fixe menu since my family and I will be using the DDP?

I saw an update to that menu on Easy WDW and I don't think my family will care for the options. So if we have to use that menu I'll probably go ahead and change that ressie. If not, then we will keep it and order off of the other half of the menu.

Please advise. Thank you!

You don't have to choose the prix fix at any of the restaurants. Some people do because it gives them an app with their meal. You can choose any entree and dessert on the regular DDP.

Thanks Sharonabe for the response. I guess they have the DDP icon next to the prix fixe menu is so people will know they can have that as an option?

I remember we all selected it last time because that's because I thought they made us...meh. Well I guess we will keep the ADR though.

No you can order whatever your dinning plan entitles you to. On the DDP you can order this a get Prix fixe -appetizer, entrée and dessert, or you can order entrée and dessert on the rest of the menu, with DDXDP you will get appetizer, entrée and dessert no mater how you order. A lot of folks, order Prix Fixe so that they get that appetizer.
