Private dinners!

Has anyone booked any private dinner/desserts for you and your other half? It

I'm trying to find places at WDW to do this the night before our sailing.

I read on disneybrides.com that a girl had booked a dinner/dessert with illuminations for her and her fiance at Epcot. It was just the two of them.
I tried calling the number she had listed, but have gotten the run around all day and still am hanging in the air.

If anyone can post their private dinner/dessert occasions that they had with any info, it would be so helpful.

Until then, here I sit coffee in hand planning, and planning and planning!

Depending on where it is there could be alot involved. I know that someone did a dinner in the Yacht Club Gazebo. They had to pay the site rental fee, a butler, dinner, and some private dining fee. It was a pretty pricey if I remember correctly. I know someone else that used private dining at the GF to set up something on the beach. It was not private but it was really, really nice!

You need to contact Walt Disney World’s Catering and Convention Services team at 407-828-3200. They will connect you with an event planner at the resort you are staying at - even if you want to do the event at another location, that's how they assign planners. Figure on at least $200 to start, but it can go up depending on what you want to do and where. Like a wedding reception, there are site fees and food and beverage minimums, but they are a LOT lower when it's just the two of you (well, site fees don't change, but there are small spots with cheaper fees).
