Does anyone know any information about the private dining offered by the Grand Floridian? I've heard you can have a butler-style meal on the property, but I'm not sure how to get any further information. We are celebrating our 10-yr. Anniversary this November and I wanted to plan something special.

You can arrange private butler style dining from the GF. If you have the money, you can even rent the "Grand One" Yacht and have the bulter serve the meal there on the boat.

If you can do it, rent it for a fireworks cruise. Its BEAUTIFUL!

If you are staying in Concierge, give them a call and they can arrange everything.

Wow. That sounds great. I heard the "Big Boat" was about $1800 an hour. Is that right?

OH GOD no......it is around $368 an hour with a min. of like 4 hours...so total with tip etc would be about $1800 for 4 hours. TRUST me...well worth it, if you have the finances to do it.

Depending on what you do for private dining and the boat it will be about $2500 bucks for the evening.

A very romantic evening with butler service etc.

This is obviously not for everyone, but as I said, if you have the finances, its an incredible night.

My husband and I had dinner on the "Grand One" in 2003 for our Honeymoon and it was magical! At the time,we booked it all through RPC Concierge and they were fantastic - asked what we like and disliked for food, wine and dessert! The food was excellent and we had a lovely view of the Fireworks and electric water parade. We were on the Boat for about 4 hours! (If my memory serves me).
It is a wonderful and magical experience and something different than park hopping and resort dining!
ENJOY!

Actually unless things have changed it's a one hour minimum with half hour increments after that, except on holidays where it's a two hour minimum. I've been on her three times, it's an extraoridnary experience.

Depends on when you rent "her". Daytime and Afternoons maybe a minimum of 1 hour, but in the evening there is a 4 hour minimum. Typically you would want the 4 hours to incorporate the electric light parade and the fireworks.

All three times were evening (fireworks) rentals. Once (3/03) was an hour, once was 90 minutes (3/04), and once was two hours. The two hours was on last July 4th.

Saturday, June 5, 2005 was 4 hours minimum and included fireworks.
