Hi, I am planning next years's Christmas vacation and I am wondering if anyone has experience getting your own Christmas tree for the room. Is there any company that offers (partially decorated) real or fake Christmas trees (to buy or rent) delivery to your room?

In the past, I have just brought a small one in my suitcase. It really took almost no room folded down. If my suitcase was full, the plan was to leave it behind, but I always managed to find room.

Well, that would be our final option. However, we really prefer a 6 foot tree and that would use a lot of suitcase space. Not to mention the ornaments and the lights. If there is a rental option, we would definitely consider that.

Which resort are you staying in? We have found that when taking a tree, a smaller tree works better in most rooms/villas. We set up a three foot tree on either the tv credenza (in a regular room or studio villa) or on the corner of the countertop (in one BR villas that have the U shaped kitchen). Although I drive to WDW and have a spare six foot tree at home, the smaller tree doesn’t get in the way as much moving around the room.

If you Google Christmas tree rental Orlando FL there are some companies who offer this service, but I do not personally know anyone who has done this so I can’t recommend one company over another. At least you have plenty of time to research it.

Thanks for your quick reply. We are located in Europe and would come for Christmas vacation. We are planning to stay in a Copper Creek 3BR.
I also googled "Christmas tree rental Orlando" but would like to here from any actual experience, and if Disney allows for such objects to be delivered etc.

I believe the tree has to be fake, not sure where I saw that. I think it was due to fire code. The company who took over floral deliveries for Disney may do something, perhaps chat with a Disney CM to see if they can give you the contact information, it's probably on the website, too. There's always Amazon!

One year we ordered a live tabletop tree delivered to our hotel room. It wasn't cheap but it came pre-lit and pre-decorated. It was from Harry & David.

Are you staying in a 1-bedroom or bigger villa? Otherwise the space a 6 ft tree will take could be a real problem…

I would think that even in a 2-bedroom, it might be hard to find a good place for a 6 ft tree.

If somebody might watch TV in the living room, then you don't want the tree between the couch and the TV. If somebody might want to use the balcony off the living room, then you don't want the tree blocking the balcony door. If somebody will be using the Murphy bed, then you have to leave clearance for it. If it's a 2-bedroom lock-off and you want use the connecting door, you can't put the tree in front of it.

I'm probably missing something.

Thanks, that's a good point. I will aim for 3BR / Cabin. If we only get a 2BR I will prefer a lockoff since we could then put it in the corner were the connecting door ist.
