Private character photos

Just wondering if anyone knows if this is possible? I would really like to have a private photo shoot with one of the 7 Dwarfs or all of them. LOL

If so, how much, where is it and who do I need to contact?

It can be done, but it's expensive. You have to "book" the character (or characters) for at least a 30-min time slot, and that booking includes paying the character, paying the character coordinator, and booking a private location for that meet & greet. Plus Costuming, if there's a particular costume you want. Basically, you would book it the same way you would any other performer.

If you want to find out how much it would cost, you can call 407-828-3200 and start there. That number is for "Convention Sales," and they're responsible for all talent bookings like that.

Well,

I called the number that WD gave me and they said that they do the private character meets, but there was a cost of beverages and food which started at $2,000!!!! That was without the cost of the character! I asked her if there was anything cheaper and she said, not for something private! I didn't ask her any more questions cause there was no way I would be able to afford that!!

I was floored to say the least!

She just suggested going to the parks and having your picture with the character or characters there. Just hope I get a chance to meet up with the Dwarfs is all.

I just read your posts and boy that is expensive!!! Well, I figured it would be. I wonder how many people actually do this on a regular basis.

I have seen them all together... once four, five years ago, all seven of them were near Germany in the WS. It was quiet and the WS had just opened. I don't recall if Snow White was there, but I saw several people getting a group photo.

I saw Dopey in MK many times during our 4 day trip last year. He was always at the end of main street. Good luck.

PS: You can ask a CM at guest services about a certain character. Sometimes they can tell you exactly where they'll be.

Yes, I think that you can ask any CM in any of the stores and they can call and tell you when and when a certain chacter will be at. I've done that a couple of times at Epcot.

don't forget about the judge's tent in toontown. they have different characters there all day. i'm sure that if the dwarves aren't there when you swing by, the cm would be able to tell you if/when they will be there.
the judge's tent is great because you're let into a room with about 8 other people, so its like you're own private photo session. and its free!

I've done that several dozen times. WDSearcher is correst, as are the prices quoted above per chacacter. You will need a private area...but you don't have to spend 2K on "beverages" to get that!

On my last trip in March (04) I seen all the dwarves and Snow White. They came marching through toontown then set up for photo's near the train station. It was really cute-- fortunately DS was on the ball and got the whole thing on tape. You couldn't get your pictures done w/ them, nor could you get autographs. You could, however, take pictures of them while the posed together. They stayed for about 15 minutes.

It appears they do meet and greets sometimes during the special events like MNSSHP and MVMCP. Something to think about.

last year both nights we attended mvmcp we saw the 7 dwarfs AND snow white behind the castle. the 2nd night we went looking to see if we'd be lucky enough to see them again, not only were we lucky but we caught them just as they were coming out and got to "march" all around fantasyland with them before they settled into a place for picture taking it was really exciting! LOL they posed for pictures with people but were not doing autographs.

Both times we've benn at the MK at opening they come marching down Main St. right after opening starting in Town Square. All 7. However, the CMs really want you to get out of the way because they can't see where they're going. No autographs then. Perhaps if you followed them to their destination . . .

I don't know it - but the last time I went to the park -- I called and they told me where I could find Lilo and Stitch... then when you get to the park you can find out the times...

ALso - I have a great photo of my best riend and Dopey that we took at MGM sight outside the movie memorbilia store... One of my fave Disney Photos... He was just there hanging out.
