Hi! Just wondering which, if any, Disney Resorts offer a sepearte sitting area for after the kiddies go to bed. I don't want to pay 1 Million dollars for a suite! We have looked at DoubleTree Guest Suites, as I know they have rooms with a separate BR, but would like the chance to stay on site and take advantage of FairyTale prices. We don't need anything elaborate, just a place to go while kids nap and turn in at 8pm.

Thanks!

A couple options would be...

Another option would be 2 adjoining rooms at just about any resort. You could be relaxing in one room while the kids were sleeping in the other. And you would have the added benefit of having 2 bathrooms.

We went with 5 people one time and got adjoining rooms at All Stars. It worked out great!

How about a 1 bedroom DVC villa? Renting points from a DVC member is a economical way for weeknights. That would give you a full kitchen, living room, washer/dryer, jacuzzi.

We also did two connecting rooms at All Star Sports. Put kids to bed in one room and adults went into second room. Allowed us to have two bathrooms, which helped a lot!

How about FW cabins? There's a seperate bedroom and then a Murphy bed in the Living room for Mom and Dad. There's also a refrigerator so that Mom and Dad can have a soda (or "whatever") while watching TV after the little ones go to bed. That's one reason we chose FW cabins when our kids were little and we're really big on them for families. We stayed there our first 3 trips-loved them!

We usually sit out on the balcony when DS naps or goes to bed. No tv, but we relax & talk. And often go to sleep not long after the little one!

The cabins are great, but we felt isolated without a golf cart.
