Prisoners?

On Tuesday, when the flooding first started. There was video of several hundred prisoners on an overpass, under guard. I saw it once and that was it. I'm assuming they were evacuated. I'm also assuming that the State of LA did the evacuating. Does anyone know anything about them? Who got them out of there? And when?

DH was watching something on television this morning; the young female senator from Louisiana was in a helicopter with a reporter. She said that the prisoners were evacuated on High priority because otherwise they would start rioting and things would have gone even worse than they did.
