Priority Seating

How important is it to have PS? We have booked PS for one TS each day except one. We haven't booked anything for that day because we are not sure what we are doing yet. We won't be eating at Napa Rose, BB, or a character meal that day.

We are thinking we will just play it by ear that day. Will we be able to get in somewhere? WDW vets have a hard time "playing it by ear"!

We leave in a week and judging by the hours DL is open, it will be busy!

It depends on how structured you want your visit to be. We will be there next week for 6 days when hours are maxed out and only have 3 PSs for ts that week and plan to play it by ear. We made the PSs for what was important to us. The rest we will figure out. I like to plan but not everyone else with me appreciates it lol.
We have been able to get same day PSs at CO and BTRBBQ in the past year so I am not too worried if we decide to eat there
You'll be able to eat somewhere, but if you have your heart set on a certain restaurant PS it. hth

I have never had priority seating and have never had a problem getting a table. Even when I went in August I did not have too long of a wait at Carnation Cafe.

Uhh... You mean "Reservations"!

Keep in mind that you'll be there during Spring Break season so it will be more crowded. You could bring the disney dining phone number with you and if you know what you want to do that morning you could call and make PS (or reservations I guess they're calling it now?) that same day. You really can do that at DLR ( i know it's not like that at WDW). Again, it might be more crowded so your choices may (or may not!) be a bit limited. My other suggestion would be that if you don't have reservations, try to eat earlier than everyone else. So for lunch go at 11am and for dinner go at 4:30 or 5.
