I haven't been to DL for quite a while and the last time I was there, I was single and it was a solo trip. Counter service was fine for me. DH & I are visiting in July and we're "foodies" now. While finding information about WDW dining is easy, I'm having problems trying to figure out DL dining.

What restaurants accept PS's? When do I call to make PS's? Are there any character meals where Tigger appears?

The number for PS's is 714-781-3463. In Disneyland you can make ps's for Blue Bayou, The Plaza Inn Princess Breakfast and Carnation Cafe. At California Adventure it's Cap'n Mickey's (formerly known as Ariel's Grotto) and the Vineyard. (There may be more over there but I can't think of them offhand.) Also the resort hotels have restaurants like Goofy's Kitchen, Napa Rose and PCH Grill to name a few that take PS's, its the same number as above for those too. Not sure about Tigger, since they changed the Plaza Inn breakfast over from Pooh characters to princesses but you can always find Tigger signing autographs over in Critter Country right by the Splash Mountain entrance/exit. For some restaurants its 60 days in advance for others I believe it is 45 days. If you call that number they can tell you when exactly to call for which place.

I will be staying onsite and I have heard about Disney Vacation Planning that is available. Would making my priorty seatings be something they could do or should I plan on doing it myself?
