Last week we twice had PS for EPCOT and missed our times - yet still got seated.
We were lying around the WL pool at 4:30ish when we decided to try Le Cellier. We requested 6:30-7 but only 5:50 was available. By the time we got on our horses and made it there it was 6:20. We asked anyway and they said "no problem", and got seated in 20 minutes - right when we had originally wanted.
A couple nights later at Alfredo's I was there at 6 (our PS time) but my party wasn't. I asked if I came back when they arrived if we'd still get a table, since I think they were turning non-PSers away. It was lined up at the desk. The guy said "you are on vacation. Relax." He gave me a card and told me to toss it at him when my party arrived. They did at 6:20 and we were seated within 10 minutes.
Somehow this seems to work better than the old reservation system, although we'll try to be on time from now on!
