My friend and I make an annual trip to DL - no kids, no hubby's, just the two of us. This year we are going Dec 1 - Dec 4 and hope to get seating for Fantasmic on the balcony (if we can get on the phone before it sells out), but we are also wondering if there is some sort of Priority Seating available for the Parade? Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is our first time going while the Holiday Parades are acutally running.

A good way to get a seat for Fantasmic is to enter the area about 10 minutes after the first show has started. They will let you into the area thinking that you want to see the first show. When the first show is done everyone stands up and walks out. You then walk down to the front row and wait a short 1 hour for the show to start. If you are in a group you can take turns getting popcorn, shopping in New Orleans area or even riding pirates or haunted mansion.

I haven't seen priority for parades mentioned on any boards. The only thing I'm aware of is the priority seating for fireworks if you take The Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour and I don't know if this is available in Dec. I wouldn't worry too much about crowds with your dates. We've gone the week before Thanksgiving several times and it's wonderful!!!
We have Fantasmic Balconey in 2 weeks and I'm really excited about that! You should have a slightly easier time in Dec. but I would recommend getting on the phone when they open just to be on the safe side.
Good Luck on the Fantasmic tickets!!!! Remember 30 days out!

There's priority or preferred seating for the parade or the fireworks available by taking the imaginations and celebrations (or whatever it is called) tour. Not sure if it is still available in December. I didn't think the walk in walt's footsteps tour had that but could be wrong. Whether you get fireworks or parade depends on which tour you go on (the first tour has nothing but you get two extra attractions to visit, I think the next two are parade and the last is fireworks).

The priority seating for parades comes with a tour. Personally, we find the priority spot and stake out directly across from it. Always works well.
