If we have the priority seating vouchers, do we need to line up early for the Aladdin show? Or will we have time to jump on the Monsters Inc. ride a few times to kill the extra few minutes before the show? We'll be going to the first show of the morning (according to the current calendar, 12:25) on a Thursday in May, so I am assuming crowds won't be a huge issue, but I thought I would check with the experts!
Thx

Crowds shouldn't be huge but the priority seating is more like a fast pass and not reserved seating. When we went, they had a separate que for the priority seating holders. Keep in mind when you get your seat that things happen over you head and down the aisles. I don't want to give anything away if you haven't seen it. But don't block your views of these areas.

I would plan on checking in about 35-45 min before show time. There is a podium in front, check in with them. They will take your voucher and tell you where to wait. While you are waiting its pretty easy for a couple people of your party to go grab a snack, use the bathroom, maybe even ride monters or tower if the lines are really short.

As for seating, when you go in the main floor is divided into two sections- the front seating, then a wide walk way, then a short wall and the back 1/2 of the seating. I recomend you get a seat in the back 1/2. The first row behind the short wall, in the center. It will give you a great view of the entire show.

Yes, packages booked through WDTC (disneyland.com) do get the same deal. Priority seating for Aladdin, Bugs Life, Golden Dreams and one day access to TTMM.

We booked through Costco and also got the same deal. I wasn't planning on using TTMM but my kids really want to go. They remember all the fun they had in Minnie's house in WDW, 3 years ago, which is the only time they've been to Disney. So, we've got 2 MM's and 1 TTMM. Also, the priority seating for the shows and the dessert package for Famtasmic. I'm hoping to combat some of these spring break crowds!

You can get PS by booking a package through Costco, Disney Travel, and I believe AAA also offers them.

We got there 30 min. before and there was still a line. We did have great seats but we've been back since without PS tickets and there really are no bad seats in the house. The way the passes work, you walk up to the podium and give the passes to the attendant, you then go inside a "special" area for pass holders. As a pass holder you get in first, after all the special people are in they do general admission and the do fill in all the seats that they can so even if you don't have a PS pass if you get in line early enough you might be able to get into the same area to watch the show. But really, we love watching it from the second floor......you really see so much more.....and yes, be sure to look around and above you during, it's quite the sight!
