Priority Seating at Fantasmic!

Has anyone done the Brown Derby dinner reservation thing to get priority seating at Fantasmic! lately? We're heading down in October and were wondering if it's worth while?

We are taking advantage of the dinner package at Brown Derby next week. For us, it makes sense because we are a party of seven and one of us is a baby. I don't want to wait in a long, crowded line for 1 1/2 hours with a baby, so we absolutely think it is worth the $$$. My DH and I have seen Fantasmic before both with and without the package. If you don't want to waste time standing in line, go with the package. I don't really think there are any bad seats for Fantasmic. I just prefer to be towards the back of the ampitheatre. I think you have a large scope of what is happening. Also, I recommend the package if Fantasmic is only being shown one time a night while you're there. When we were in WDW in June 2001, they were showing it 2 times a night, so we went to the last show, but went at the last minute and had no wait and no trouble getting a seat. I think that this was b/c it was June and it was shown 2 times a night. In December when we were there, I think there may have been three shows a night, and even though we went with our June 2001 strategy, we still waited in line for a good hour.

I say do the package. It's well worth the $$$ in my opinion!
