Priority boarding with PC hotel stay?

Hi,

I had a PC hotel tell me that those who stay in the area before cruising receive priority boarding on embarkation day. Has anyone heard of this? If so, what is meant by priority? I haven't read anything about it before.

Not on Disney. Maybe on some other cruiseline?

Only "priority" boarding is Concierge, they can board whenever they show up at the port (as long as boarding has begun). And Platinum Castaway Club members.

I'd question them as to what, exactly, they are talking about.
