Prioritizing AP over 4-day parkhopper

Okay, Dissers, I have an AP/ticket question that I hope some of you can answer. I have an AP. I also just purchased a package that has a 4-day park hopper attached to it. The CM that I spoke with on the phone said that I can apply the 4-day park hopper to my next AP. And I am fine with that. Here is my question: Will I have to go to guest services every day to get my AP prioritized over my 4-day park hopper, or is that something I will only have to do once. I really don't want to have to visit guest services repeatedly to make sure that my 4-day park hopper doesn't get used, but I guess I will if I have to....it will just not be very magical;(
 
I think some people create a extra identity in their MDE account (like an identity for your dog) and assign the 4-day ticket to that identity. But I don't know if you can do that if you got the ticket as a package. At any rate, this will bump up your question so that someone more knowledgeable can tell you if I'm wrong.

What’s even easier is to add a TicketSaver/fake Profile to your MDX account. Reassign the 4-day ticket there and it’ll be safe until you decide to use it to renew your AP.

When I am in MDE it says the ticket can't be reassigned.
 

Is the reassigning process a one time thing or do you think I should do that every time I enter a park?
Once it’s reassigned to the Saver Profile, it remains there until you use it for your AP renewal. Saves you from waiting in a Guest Relations or Ticket Window line.

You do it yourself from your MDX Ticket area. On your check-in day each ticket will have “Reassign” and you can Select and move it to the Profile named Ticket Saver or whatever name you’ve chosen.

I have a number of comp tickets that I reassign between Profiles until I actually use them at Disneyland. :)
 
Sorry this is off topic...but can WDW comp tickets be used at DL?
Mine can because my CM friend gives me her CM comps to use however I choose.

Comps that are given out as WDW Guest Recovery/appeasement are probably only for WDW...not sure because I’ve never received one. :)

You have a very nice friend, a keeper! My ex-CM brother wouldn’t share his with anyone.
 
In case anyone reading this thread needs an answer to the original question, once prioritized the tickets stay that way for the whole trip (no need to go back each day) I do usually check back at guest services once to make sure the prioritization was done correctly. I have partially used non - expiring tickets on my account that can’t be reassigned.
