I just bought a new printer all in one Canon mx340. I had a Lexmark x75 all in one. I got a new laptop computer at Christmas and of course my printer is not compatible with my laptop. Last year when we went to Disney and made all our shirts I was able to print from my Lexmark using tshirt transfer printing setting and then flip the design back to normal as I was using Amy's transfers. This new printer has a the tshirt transfer option but I can't find where to flip the design back to normal without just printing on using regular paper setting. Has anybody got this particular printer or know what I can do to get it to print the design without it flipping?

TIA,Danette

Printing problems ar very frequent especially compatibility problem. There are many others problem but if you take used things then you will find many problems.

Are you using the tshirt transfer option as a print quality setting? Or as a "paper" kind of setting? I found that the best option for me when printing on Amy's transfers to almost any printer (Canon included) is to tell the printer (under Print Settings/Paper Type) that I'm just using some sort of high quality presentation paper and to print at the highest quality - as opposed to telling it I'm using T shirt transfer paper because then it tries to be helpful and flip it over for me. Usually telling it you're using high quality paper for a presentation boosts the print quality to what it would - or better - for a T shirt transfer.

I've also found that if you drill down in the print setup menu there is almost always a place to turn mirroring on or off. You might have to do it from inside your app as opposed from the Control Panel but I think you should be able to find it under one of the Advanced settings somewhere. Good luck!
