I was wondering if guest service will print me a SW Boarding Pass on the last night of our cruise,or is that something I will have to do myself after midnight at one of the computer terminals on board.. thanks Les

I had a similar experience in December and I was told they couldn't do it for me. They did suggest I use one of the computers onboard.

however the computers are unavailable the last night of the cruise after 10 or 11 pm. That was the issue I ran into because I tried to log on and get my boarding pass.

I was on the Magic1/15/05 and I was able to print my passes out at the internet cafe, as were many others...mark

That's what I was hoping to do on the last night of our cruise in January. I went down to the Internet Cafe just after midnight, got online with SW, hit the print button and nothing happened. Here, the printer was not working and couldn't be fixed until after we docked at Port Canaveral in the morning. I had to get my boarding passes at the airport check-in. So, as long as the printer is working, you should be able to print off your boarding pass.

I just got off the Wonder last week. I went to the internet cafe at 12:04am and printed out boarding passes for SWA for 12 people. Took about 3 minutes (total cost $2.25) I wasn't charged printing fees. Actually, I only printed out 8 at that time, then came back at 6:30am and printed out the other 4 (I didn't have their reservation # readily available, so I had to wait until SWA customer service number opened up, then I called and got the last ressie #. Then, back to the internet cafe to print out the remaining passes). Both charges were on my onboard account. Very easy.

Why would you need to print your own boarding passes out? I print up the tickets at home, and once they take my luggage curbside they hand me boarding passes for my flight.....I have never flown southwest ssince they dont give you assigned seats so I guess it has something to do with that....but JetBlue you don't need to do anything after you buy the tickets.

The reason you print them out on the day of flying is that the earlier you get boarding passes, the better possible place in the cattle call line you get.... your boarding passes will get A, B, or C on them... if you don't have any 5 and unders or special assistance needs, you get in line depending on your letter... A gets on the plane and picks their seats 1st... then B... then C... so that's why it's desireable to print boarding passes early (they allow you to do it after midnight on the day flying)...

Thanks,
Paul

for me, I will still lean on the children under 5 rule.... hmm once the last one is over 5 is it time to try for another, just to board 1st?? ;)

Thank you all for your comments and replies. It was concerned about earlier post of closed terminals after midnight, but your reassurance will check this item off my "to do"     list ..Started at 1029 days... down to 53 days and counting :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Les

I am glad to hear the computers are available now. They were not on my last cruise, and I went to guest services to try to get the boarding passes also and could not.

At least for my next cruise I will be able to go and log-in to get my boarding passes.
