We are staying at OKW over Memorial Day weekend and flying Southwest. We always print up our boarding passes ahead of time but end up having issues on the way back. Is there a place to hop on the internet and print our tix, or bring our own laptop and print somewhere. :surfweb: :confused3

Guest Relations at Epcot let us print our SW boarding passes in April. We didn't want to go back to our hotel, and so we asked, and it worked!

Note, if you cannot get anywhere to print it but your goal is to get an "A" ticket, you can check in on line and don't print the ticket that comes up but take down the ticket/ID locater number. When you get to the airport, you can just use the number in the automatic check-in machine to get the tickets and print them out.

There are a number of third party vendors that will also do this for you. One was even mentioned in the Wall Street Journal a couple of years ago as one of the best business travel sites of the year. For a nominal per ticket fee, they check you and your party in, only charging you a fee if they secure an "A" pass. When you get to the airport, you can simply use the automated kiosk to reprint your boarding pass. You won't need the locater number to do so. The airline is trying to use the courts to end these vendors' activities, thus far to no avail. Of course, another way to put them out of business would be to use advance seat assignment.

We have always been able to print our tickets at the DVC front desks. In early May we were having dinner at the Poly 24 hours prior to flight time and they happily printed our tickets.

We were at the WLV in early March. We went to the front desk and inquired about this and they would not print them out for us.

I've always found the staff at the business center in the Contemporary very accomodating.

Wow, we were at VWL in later March, and they took care of us at the guest services desk. We were on Air Tran, and they got us the seats we requested.

I usually ask someone back home to go on the Southwest website at exactly 24 hours prior and check-in for us online. We then just print the passes out when we get to the airport. My mother has done it for us, my dh did it for me on my last trip, I've had my son's friend do it.

We rarely fly Southwest but when we do, it always seems like we're on the 7:30pm flight - so, the 24 hours before always seems to land right in the middle of our last night dinner at some fabulous restaurant.

Leave your reservation # and just remind your friend or loved one that day to do it. They can text you whether or not you're an A or a B (if they fail and get you a C, chances are they'll be too humiliated to text you :lmao: ).

Doing it this way - we have always been an "A".

We fly Southwest all the time. If you for some strange reason you are off property the local public library has internet connection. They will charge you for the printing. Florida has some nice libraries.

Thanks for all you suggestions.
We will either bring our laptop and then print boarding ***** at airport or check with the front desk.

Any other thoughts? Also, if we go online what exact info do we need at the airport? Do we use the Kiosk at baggage check in?

Again....Thanks :thumbsup2

When you get to the aiport you will only need Southwest reservation number. All the names on the reservation will come up on the screen and you will click on all of them to print out all the boarding passes for each member of your family.

We had our laptop with us on our last trip, but I didn't want to go all the way back to the hotel, so I called my dh and he did it from home (he didn't come with us on our last trip). It really works out great for us to do it this way.

It's a GREAT idea to text your reservation number to yourself on your cellphone so that if you find yourself without internet access or stuck on a bus or not wanting to leave a park or whatever - you can call anyone, anywhere back home to go on to Southwest's website and click on "check-in online" and all they have to do is enter the ressie # and the first and last name on the reservation (I always put my name down). And that's it. Easy as pie. They can even do a "trial run" before the big day to make sure they understand how easy it is.

Have a great trip!!

I had the CM's that were working at guest relations at MK print mine out for me last year. All they needed was the confirmation numbers and the names of the travelers. Worked out great...

Yep, when we called to inquire where to print them, the front desk at BC offered to do it, thought that was very nice!!!

Quick question - I know that you can book AirTran flights through Disney, but can you book Southwest too?

With SW, you can also check in on your cell phone if it has internet. We do this for our flight home and then print our boarding passes at the airport.

There is information on the website about how to do it. :goodvibes
