Printing from ipad with an app

My printer does not support air print... I read u can get an app to help u print. I assume this is to print to any printer ? Anyone do this?

Assuming that you have a wireless printer and are connected on a wifi network...

In the App Store, Check for an app made by your printer (Epson, etc...). Many of them offer an app that works like air print.

what printer do you have?
Canon and hp have apps, also, a third party printing app to try is printcentral as this is one i use myself
