Printing at Staples to make door magnets

the search isnt working for me currently so I figured I'd ask...

For those of you that have printed Barb's designs or anyothers at Staples, how did you request to have them printed?

Can you purchase the magnet paper there and have them use their machines and your paper to print?

Did you print on cardstock and have it laminated and then stick on magnets?

What mil laminate did you use? what cardstock weight?

Who would have thought there would be so many questions to print something?

I don't know if someone had a different experience, but when I went to Staples, they said that they could not print on the magnetic paper because it is for ink jet printers only as the laser printer would melt the paper. So, I bought their store brand magnetic paper and printed at home myself. Just make sure that your color ink cartridges are full before printing.

If you're justing printing on card stock and then going to have them laminated and add magnet stickers, they would probably be able to do that for you. Good luck!

I didn't use staples, but I did use FedEx. I had them print on a glossy card stock then attached it to the self adhesive magnet paper I bought on Amazon. They came out very good and will easily last a few cruises.

We printed at home directly on the magnet paper that was purchased at Staples. I think it was Staples brand magnet paper, but might have been Avery -- whatever was available when I shopped for it.

I print at home, have Staples laminate, then I use magnet strips for my signs. I like this method best. That way I have the signs for other uses later.
