PRINTER Help!

Hello All.
I am desperately trying to print one of my favorite quotes.

My issue is that I need in 36 format. But for the life of me I can not figure out how to get it to print vertically instead of Horizontal. It won't fit horizontally

I've tried to print preview then change orientation. But it's not working for me.

Any help will be greatly appreciated! I'm using a simple Lexmark Z517.

Go to file - page set-up - orientation and change from portrait to landscape. If that doesn't work, not sure. My programmes allow me to rotate using a little green spot which appears on top of the text box when it is selected - do you have this?

What are you using to type the quote? What program?

I'm using Word.

I tried the file and change to landscape. But nothing changes!

Are you typing just one word? And you want that word to be vertical, not horizontal? Sorry - I'm not sure I understand what you're asking if not that.

When you changed from portrait to landscape & nothing happened...is your print area too large? I mean can you just change your margins so they're only as wide as whatever it is you want to print?

Do you have powerpoint? You can rotate a text box there

I believe you have to put your verbage in a text box or a table first. Then, click on that text box and go to Format on the menu bar and click on Text Direction to change the direction of the text.
