printed admission and fastpass

Howdy!

I see that it is free to print admission tickets to Disneyland park. I was wondering how and if these tickets work in the Fast Pass machines.

I think, but not sure, that they give you the "real" tickets when you give them your printed tickets at the gate. I wondered the same thing when we went this summer but then we decided to get them from AAA for the free parking, so I haven't checked to be sure. But that is the only thing that makes sense.

Yes, you present your printed tickets at the entry gate and you will get park tickets in exchange that will work in fastpass machines.

This is correct. The CM at the ENTRY GATE (not the ticket window) will take your internet printed ticket & convert it into a DLR ticket that you will use for FPs.

It takes 5-10 seconds tops.
