Just wondering the age at which your children started to obsess over princesses. My DD is 28 months and loves Jake & Mickey & Tinkerbell. I am planning a trip for this October and trying to guess how Princess focused it should be. (Like booking princess character meals)

Our DD was 18 months at our last visit and she loved Akershus. She has almost all the princess dresses now at 2 1/2 and would wear them every day if we let her.

Never! Not every girl likes the princesses. My DD never did , she liked the characters from the Lion King when younger and Tinkerbell when older but that was it and certainly not obsessed with them.

3 of my 4 girls were never into princesses. The youngest fell in love with them at 2 and would be a different pricness every day!

I didn't get into the princesses much as a little kid. They weren't so massively big! I enjoyed the movies but that's it. I didn't dress up like them or whatever.

My daughter never did get into them. She's almost 9, so I don't think that they are going to become an issue in the future either.

I would book the Princess meals. My DD became absolutely obsessed with Cinderella when she was 1. There was a point at age 1 and 2, where she wore a Cinderella dress almost every day for an entire year. She did not really show any interest in the other princesses.

When she was 2, she made her 1st trip to WDW and we had a Princess lunch at Akershus (because I couldn't get an ADR at CRT). She went nuts over the Princesses there and from that day on, our house was all Disney Princess all the time. (We also had to re-visit the Princesses around WS and at MK on that trip after the Princess lunch) She is now 8, and is still a little Princess crazy-especially now that Anna and Elsa are around.

Our little girl first visited at 23 months and had no interest in Princesses but when we returned 10 months later she loved them! She is 5 now and would wear a princess dress everyday if she could! I would def book the Akershus princess breakfast/lunch this is my daughters favourite experience & has been since she was nearly 3!

I will probably book a princess meal and cancel if she shows zero interest closer to our trip. I feel like there are hints that she will start liking princesses.... She made a tiara at school yesterday and wanted to wear it everywhere. She also says she is princess whenever she wears dresses. But when it comes to watching shows or movies she is all about Jake, Mickey and we have watched Peter Pan Countless times. I do think I will book the pirate and fireworks cruise too. As of right now, meeting Hook and Smee would make her very very happy.

By the way thanks for all the feedback! It's always so hard making decisions months in advance!
