i know this has been posted before but could someone help? i have reservations for the princess dinner in norway at epcot. i keep seeing posts regarding the food for dinner and picky eaters. my wife is a picky eater. she would never not go anywhere and she'll always say i'll find something but am i better off doing the breakfast? i don't have a dining plan and i'm not sure of the price difference between breakfast and dinner. and finally, am i not getting the full lineup of princesses at breakfast as opposed to dinner?

thanks for the help!!

Here's the dinner menu: http://allearsnet.com/menu/menu_nor.htm

I think anyone could find something to eat. If nothing else, there's the pasta entree. If she doesn't like that, I'm sure the chef could adjust it to her liking.

Here's breakfast: http://allearsnet.com/menu/menu_psb.htm

And the princess line-up at dinner is slightly different than at breakfast, but There is the same number of princesses though.

The menu for the breakfast is incorrect. We were there on Friday and they have no French Toast.

Breakfast at Akershus is delicious - it was one of the best meals we ate in Disney. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes served in a skillet family style, so each of us could take what we wanted. Fresh fruit and cinnamon buns served separately. Coffee/tea/orange or apple juice to drink. The coffee and cinnamon buns are sublime. Princesses included Mary Poppins, Sleeping Beauty, Mulan, Belle and Jasmine. I would definitely recommend breakfast.

Hello. My name is Jennifer and I'm a picky eater!!

I'm getting better, but still have some food issues. I was freaking out a bit because during my October trip, my brother, SIL and nieces wanted to take me there so we could all see IllumiNations together afterwards. I would NOT pick that place, even without the princesses if given the choice.

There wasn't too much on the 'cold table' that I would eat (side note like the cold scrambled eggs - eww!!) HOWEVER - I ordered the Pasta Akershus (pasta and sauteed garden vegetables with a fresh herb, roasted garlic pesto) and asked for it with grilled chicken. It was actually pretty good and would go back if it wasn't a princess meal.

My dh & I took our DD4.5 to the storybook lunch 2 weeks ago. DH is very picky, not into any veggies, mainly a meat & potatoes guy. I warned him that this was for the little girl, and that he might not like the menu. He told me once during the meal and once after that it was pretty tasty. He also ordered the pasta with grilled chicken. I had the pasta with salmon. It was really good. There were a lot of strange-to-us items on the buffet, and I will admit we didn't try them all. But we did find plenty that we all liked. And the princesses were lovely and so sweet BTW. Another suggestion for whatever meal you choose: get there about 10-15 minutes early and check in. They sat us in the order we checked in. We were the second table from the door where the princesses go in and out. So they came by our table right away, and then again on their way out. There was even a time when there were 3 bunched up by us getting ready to leave the room. Cool pictures with multiple princesses!
