Princess Room package

Has anyone booked room package for princess run? What do you get in pkg. deal. Is it worth booking or should we just book room using AAA or AP.

I wouldn't really call it a "pakage". You get a bit of a discount on the rooms if you stay 2 or more nights. Park tickets are not included although you do get a discount on those as well. We only had time to do 2 parks last year, but at the expo they were selling a 3 day park pass for $129 I believe.

Just to give you an example of what to expect, here is a qoute from 2013 Princess weekend:

4 nights at Coronado Springs Resort ( 3 adults) $961
3 nights at Polynesian ( 3 adults) $1,758
3 nights at OKW or SSR (3 adults) $1,164

a 2 day base ticket was $125.67

Like I said, these were 2013 prices, so I suspect they will go up significantly for 2014. Good Luck!

Thank you so much for what you could tell me. I have an AP that will be active so no ticket needs for me.
I was more or less wondering on room rates vs booking using AAA rm discount or AP discount and we would stay at value resort or possibly moderate but unlikely. and if there was any special goodies given when booked thru run Disney.

If you are AP, your best bet for a great deal is to book through a travel agent that specializes in group bookings for the Disney races. We're a family of 3 staying at BC in January for 4 nights for 1080. I am NOT a TA but learn of group bookings for races through my running group. I had no idea this option existed and have been paying way more each year booking with runDisney or Disney direct.

Could you give me some ideas of who I could contact TA wise. My only TA knowledge is a HS classmate who does more biz bookings and AAA TA's. My friend will need a ticket but she can buy that from wherever ( UCT, Disney race Expo)

I was able to get a better rate then what RunDisney had by booking with the public room only discount they offered this year. In some instances the RunDisney bookings were more than booking at rack rate.
