I am actually doing the royal wave as I cross the finish line! I don't remember doing it but I love the picture. I also told DD I would blow her a kiss in a picture and that also turned out great. Love the pictures.

I'm so happy with my pictures. I'm going to order two: one of me with the backdrop holding my medal, and one of me running. But I have 3 really good ones to choose from of me running. Decisions, decisions!

Does anyone else find it odd that we had ONE wheelchair racer, and her pics are in the lost and found section? They REALLY couldn't figure that one out?

I think I am just getting them all..i want the digital version and have 3 good pics, so its cheaper to get all of them. my videos at the finish are not the greatest, but I love seeing myself cross over to high five minnie, donald and daisy. SUCKER!

Yeah, the ASI stuff can be kind of goofy. I suspect that a computer program scans each picture, looking for a bib, and then puts them with the appropriate runner. But, when it can't read the bib correctly, they get put in the lost & found, or with the wrong runner. (IIRC, one ASI race I did had three or four people as "me" - including two cases of post-finish photos which were most certainly not me.)

A couple of lessons I learned in ordering from ASI after Marathon Weekend (just to be aware of)...

A) The "Your order has shipped" confirmation comes from Brightroom, not ASI. At least mine did, and it confused the heck out of me for a little while because NYRR uses Brightroom for their races and I was pretty sure I hadn't ordered any of those pics.

B) They don't actually charge your card until your order has shipped or even a couple of weeks later. They do a verification, but never go to get it, so the money shows back up in your account. Fine if you know that's what's going on. I missed that bit of info and never noticed that the ASI charge had disappeared at first.

I love my plaque and pictures and am glad I got them. Those are just 2 things that caught me by surprise.
