Princess Phoebe's Pre-WISH-Trip Report (arriving in MK 4/17/10)

SO many cute things. Sorry about the camera. The towel for Dh was awesome. You are at 30 days Whooo Hooo!!

:wave2:Hi!

I am another Disboutiquer and I just sent my package out yesterday. In my haste to send it out quickly, I forgot to put in a note.:moped:

So I wanted to let you know, a little something from Georgia is on it's way to you for Phoebe.

Hope you have a great trip!princess:

We got two more packages in the mail and the girls just loved them! First one is from Melinda in Hawaii. After Phoebe's bus drops her off in front of our house we go check the mailbox and what did we find?
MelindaHI2.jpg

Not sure what it is...
MelindaHI4.jpg

Tessa takes a look at hers.
MelindaHI7.jpg

We read the adorable postcards inside. I asked Tessa who the picture of the girl looks like and she says "me!". I said, yes, kind of, but don't you think it looks like Lilo? "oh, yeah". I told her that this package came all the way from Hawaii where Lilo and Stitch live. She was very curious to open the wrapping now.
MelindaHI8.jpg

When I opened Phoebe's she decided this was definitely NOT something she was expecting. The texture of the grass skirt had her very concerned. :lmao:
MelindaHI9.jpg

Trying not to touch it. :rotfl:
MelindaHI10.jpg

Tessa LOVED having hers put on so that she could do the Hula!
MelindaHI11.jpg

Phoebe was getting used to the feeling of the grass skirt and liking it. Tessa was dancing all over the room and got in the picture.
MelindaHI13.jpg

All of a sudden, she ran out of the room saying something about giving it to the fairies??? and then came back with a Little Mermaid book that she had to sit and "read" to me, taking time to point out some sea creature on a page. Maybe she thinks the Little Mermaid lives in Hawaii? I have no idea what was going through her mind, but there was no doubt that she was excited. Phoebe really did like the outfit after a few minutes of getting used to it and it almost made me want to book the luau dinner show. I would if my itinerary weren't already SO full. Seeing how cute they looked and how much fun they had wearing them, I really was (am) tempted. Thank you so much for sending that little bit of Aloha Melinda!!!

Next up a box from Modesto, CA. I hope I didn't lose it if there was a note or anything. It was getting hectic so if there was a name I'm sorry I haven't seen it. So still wearing their hula outfits, they opened the box to find...
SeaWorld1.jpg

Some very cute, fluffy bows! Tessa ran off to have another bite of dinner, so Phoebe was left to pull out the rest of the contents.
SeaWorld2.jpg

More bows! I showed Tessa and reminded her that she has a very cute little Minnie dress that would match the Minnie Mouse bows. :cutie:
SeaWorld4.jpg

Underneath the pretty bows are a couple of bundles tied up with string. I had to help untie them, so no pics of that but the girls are so curious about what is inside these things. It's funny. And Phoebe's is first....
SeaWorld3.jpg

She looks gorgeous in the blues and I love how the white just pops against it. It's a beautiful Sea World dress with a soft white T-shirt!
SeaWorld5.jpg

Tim was working and Sally, our helper, is gone for the weekend but I had to try and get one of Phoebe standing to show how pretty it lays on her. The skirt is really full and poofy, even though she can't twirl. ;)
SeaWorld6.jpg

Tessa's coordinating dress with cute little sea turtles on the front. She wanted to dance in it but my phone can't focus on her so I had to tell her to "freeze".
SeaWorld7.jpg

They are both so pretty and it was so thoughtful to have included the white Ts. They fit perfect! Thank you so much "Modesto"!!!;)

Such cute things- once again!! I just can't believe how talented these ladies are!!!

I'd have to admit, I'd be tempted to book the luau too, if I'd gotten those for my girlies!

Hope you are ready to pack an extra suitcase for all these awesome clothes and goodies!!!!!

You are in the 20's!!!!!!!!!! Getting soooo close!!!! pixiedust:pixiedust:

The girls look BEAUTIFUL-and glad Phoebe grew to like the feel of the grass skirt and having been to the Luau-it is fun but I think worth a miss with everything else you have planned!

Once again the Big Givers have out done themselves. The dresses and the hula skirts and tops are just adorable. Im glad Phobe started getting used to the feeling of the skirt. Gavin is the same way, anything scratchy is a no go. He wont even wear jeans. Drives me crazy sometimes. :goodvibes

What adorable outfits! Your beautiful little girls are going to look amazing on your vacation!

I did have little notes attached to the girl's "bundles" - they simply had their names on them and said to have a great time at SeaWorld! I did sign them "Fairygoodmother"

The bows were made for the girls by poohnpigletCA, and the dresses are from me, both of us in Modesto.
It looks like they fit! Hurray! :cheer2:
Thanks so much for posting pictures.

Your girls are absolutely beautiful, and I pray you have a wonderful trip!

I found them under the couch!!! Tessa must have pulled them off of the ribbon when she was pulling the bows out. :confused3 Thank you so much "Fairygoodmother" and Poohnpiglet!

Wow, we were so spoiled yesterday with 4 packages to open!!! Thankfully, Tim was off and able to help me with the "opening ceremonies" but it was still fun and frantic as always. :rotfl:
First up was a package from "Birdie757". Heather and her daughter Ashley included a very sweet letter. Phoebe enjoyed listening to Daddy read it.
Birdie7573.jpg

She likes to "feel" Daddy's deep voice.
Birdie7574.jpg

Tessa loved hearing that Ashley was 4 years old also and that she lives by the ocean. :thumbsup2

A foam heart card from Ashley, that Phoebe's trying to figure out.
Birdie7576.jpg

And then TWO adorable custom outfits! First a pink Lady and the Tramp.
Birdie7577.jpg

And a Blue's Clues! Phoebe's favorite!!! Even though it's not a Disney character, she just freezes when the show comes on. She loves when Blue talks. :goodvibes
Birdie7578.jpg

Birdie757.jpg

I have to explain the lighting for those two. We opened everything in the evening before sunset but *somehow* the Blue's T got "lost". We were completely confused because we opened everything in one spot at one time and it was *nowhere* to be found! I double checked the boxes and envelopes, under the couch, behind the cushions...nothing. Finally Tim found it in the toy box! Hmmm, can't imagine which of the four of us could have *misplaced* it....
So once we finally found it it was dark, no light to take pics. :sad2: I decided to get out a halogen work lamp from the garage. It's a bit overkill, but it worked. I CAN'T WAIT until I get my new camera!!!

Thank you so much Heather and Ashley!!!

Next up was a box from the Daniel Family.
DanielFamily2.jpg

It's an adorable 101 Dalmatians dress (and Tshirt)!
DanielFamily.jpg

It's so cute on her. Thank you so much! I promise to take more/better pics on our trip because these are just pitiful. Even in "good" lighting the quality and color are bad, and having Tessa bouncing around nearby makes it so hard to get them in focus.

Here is the next box for Daddy. (from me ) I had lots of Coke rewards points and decided Daddy needed some new apparel for the trip as well. He collects hats (even ones that in IMHO are not worth collecting but oh well) so I thought he'd like this one and he did! It's hard to tell, but the colors are not basic black and white, more like "stone" and brown. It's kinda cool.
Hat2.jpg

Tessa just has SO much energy! She was bouncing around all over the place and trying to steal Daddy's hat so he put the box on her instead. :rolleyes1 I was laughing so hard because this is totally typical for her and it is CHAOS. Even with Tim home it's craziness!
Hat.jpg

Next up is a box from Mary in NJ. It looks like it's for Tessa (since crayons are a food group for Phoebe ). Coloring books!
MaryNJ2.jpg

And a crayon roll-up for the airplane! Tessa has never seen these before but she was thrilled! It was funny.
MaryNJ3.jpg

Thank you Mary! I have no doubt that these will come in handy during our travels!

Thank you so much Heather and Ashley!!!

You are so very welcome. My daughter loved hearing about your girls and still can't quite understand that we won't be going over to your house to play...lol. I know that Blue isn't "disney" but when it was listed as her favorite I didn't care if it made the trip or not...at least she could have something with him on it to wear.

I hope you guys have the best wish trip ever!

WOW WOW WOW!!

I love what you said about being together and our seaworld outfits -- they would've thought we were starting some fashion trend!! :)

As for yesterday, what a fun and exciting day! I selfishly love the lady and the tramp and dalmatian outfits...they are two of my favorite movies! And the blue's clues outfit is adorable and again a perfect color for her!! So much fun!!!! :woohoo: And I just love Tessa's energy and excitement throughout all your posts! :lovestruc

Hooray for the BIG GIVE! :yay:

You guys are getting close!!! Better start packing those outfits away!! YAY! :cool1:

Wow so much excitement at your house! I really love the Dalmatian dress! When Caitlin was little she was addicted to that movie and she had a similar little dress. :goodvibes
