ok so I have enough lemonade for everyone. (since life keeps throwing lemons my way)

Sorry I never came back Tuesday.

So Monday in the mail is the biggest package yet. Addressed to the Pratt Family. Keeping Morgan up til 8 (she goes to bed normally by 7, I know it's early but up at 6:30) to wait for Miranda to get home. So we gather together and here is what happened

Jill, these shirts are beautiful. I love how you put the Starlight on the sleeve. They all fit too!!! Morgan was looking thru her autograph book and all the pages came out--she looked at me like but DJ put it back together for her and she was all


Again I have to say how wonderful everyone involved in the Big Gives are. It takes a special type of person to give of youselfs so selflessly (is that a word? and if so is it spelled right?)

Have to head back to be nurse to the hubby now. More updates soon. I know I never gave backstory.

time keeps getting away from me. From me recuperating from my surgery, him just having surgery 12/8 (dorsal column stimulator), going to PT 3x a week for myself, taking Miranda 2x for PT and drama club at school every nite this week, not being able to lift more then 10 lbs (morgan is 45), finding out I used up all my sick time and not being paid, husband not getting paid, fighting w/insurance company to cover a special needs stroller & car seat, not being cleared to go back to work for another week. Missing all Morgans therapies (PT,OT & speech) for 2 months. I know there is more but that's the ones that pop up front right now. sorry for

I really want to write more about the family and how we came to be and all the stuff that others write. I know I gave a very, very brief description. Anyway that's my little vent. BUT.....I'm starting out 2009 the right way.....I'M GOING TO DISNEY!!!!

whoa it's been more then a week since I was here and I apologize for not updating sooner. We had more goodies arrive. We had a birthday. We got a pink slip. We had snow. We had to change our 1 booked ADR. We had to have brakes fixed. We made cookies. We had a snow day. We took Morgan & Dustin to a hibachi restaurant. We had Mirandas school concert. Jim had his stimulator turned on so pain is now at a 3/4 vs. 8/9. Morgan took the candy canes off the tree. Insurance issue resolved-items on order. Ok now for pics
Now there was no note with these but the return address stated Tigerlilyhill Designs. These bags are so cute. Thank you to whoever sent these

can you tell Morgan likes to get in the pictures. Thank you soooooo much HeatherSue. That skirt/shirt fits Miranda so perfect and it is just right for a 14yo. She wants to wear it to school but I've already told her after we return. The Goofy shirt fits DJ perfectly also and matches him so well.

Looking at these pics DJ doesnt seem so happy. He is.
I think DJ is at a loss for words. I think he is trying to figure out why stuff keeps coming. He is my analyzer. He has to have reasons for everything.
Miranda has already used the bag-she snuck it out. She loves it. So do I. Jack Skellington is awesome. Still so amazed at all the handiwork.

Didn't realize how long this has taken. From downloading pics to posting them. The rest of the family is ready to leave me here and we have to go pick up pie orders from a fundraiser. I hope to make it back later to keep updating.

I'm so glad Miranda likes her Snow White outfit! She looks so pretty in it, too!! DJ looks very cool in his Goofy shirt. I wanted to put his name on it, but I honored his request not to.

The Jack shirt and minnie bag are from April, Minnievanmom. Those both turned out great!

Tigerlilyhill is a wonderful woman on ebay that donated some of her embroidery designs to me for the Big Give. I don't think she is a Diser. How cool that she sent the kids personalized bags!

yes Maroo, Jim got "temp" laid off. it has been interesting to say the least. I go back to work this coming Monday finally. Get to work 2 days before we leave!!! We are less then 1 week now.

On Wednesday we got a gorgeous dress from Kristie-peachygreen. I'm sorry to say there are no pics however because my camera is lost. Probably stuck in some vortex which likes to make life even better for those who have it so well I hope to find it before our trip so I can take pics. We also found out our video camera is broke when we went to video Christmas. This was the first year not getting to tape present opening in over 7 years.

Today we will finally get our package from Starlight. I've had to rearrange our plans twice now since our SeaWorld & Universal days are set and we didn't know.

so here we are 4 days to go and still can't find our camera.

This really stinks because now we've rec'd a gift from Toadstool and I can't show everyone. Morgan got Little Einsteins, DJ got Jack Skellington & Miranda got Tink rolls. These are awesome. perfect for the plane and just to keep their pencils/pens with for school.

I still hope to find the camera and will take pics as soon as possible. We are also on the hunt for an inexpensive video camera. We do have to be picky because previously we bought 6 mini dv's to go into our camera so we still want to be able to use them.

I get to go back to work tomorrow. Not looking forward to it. Hoping it will go fast.

Still have to pack and make sure we have everything.

Confirmed hotel reservations, confirmed flight, however can't seem to confirm car rental. We got conf# on our paperwork but when I call Dollar they don't have anything. I'll be calling Starlight tomorrow. It wouldn't be fun to get to MCO and not have a car.

We are doing Magic Kingdom on Thursday hoping to see the parade at 3, wishes at 9 and Spectromagic at either 8 or 10

Friday we are going to Universal with lots of ET rides

Saturday is Hollywood Studios lunch with Little Einsteins a few Playhouse shows and Fantasmic at 6. Lots of Star Tours rides in between

Sunday is tentatively EPCOT

Monday is Seaworld

Tuesday is Hollywood Studios again with lunch at Sci Fi then dinner at Garden Grill in EPCOT. However the tickets we have are not hoppers so this is probably going to change.

Wednesday is DTD for shopping and coming home hoping to not have a delay because Starlight is having a Disney on Ice nite at 6:30. We should land around 5:45 and hope to make it.

now to call to see if can change some dining times.

When you get there...they will have a Camcorder that you can use at GKTW...you just have to go to the Media Center and check it out. You can also get disposable cameras. I think the Camcorder might take pictures, as well as video?

I would do a TON of photopass pics if you can't find your camera! Of all of the character greets...

Gosh...I hope you find it!!!

There is a Walmart right by GKTW...you could buy one??? As a souvenir?

Unfortunately we won't be staying at GKTW. We are going to borrow one from a friend so that will ease that problem. Still looking for my camera. I have to pack tomorrow so I will really tear the house apart looking for it. On a side note....

Today we got a box. While it was a small box it was PACKED with stuff. The return address was from Linnette V**************** (don't want to post last name and it's not that long) on the box it says Disboutique Big-Give but there is nothing else to let me know who this is. I'm so upset there wasn't a camera to take pics. The girls received more outfits. Miranda got a black & white polka dot halter top w/black capris with little Mickey heads, a shirt & skirt with Belle in purple, a Tink & fairies blue halter top w/blue capris, a Cheshire Cat T-shirt, a Tink T-shirt, a Minnie pattern purse & a dark wash denim purse. Morgan got an Ariel dress, a jean Cinderella jumper, a matching Tink outfit of Mirandas (halter top & capris-blue) & a Tink dress.

Can you say floored......... cuz I was. #1 That was beyond generous. #2 They are all so very beautiful. #3 How did you get them to fit in that box???

I wish I knew who it was -screenname- so she could get the proper thanks.

I will definitely have pics from vacation so don't worry.

I am laughing about the box!!! as I was running to the post office that was the only box I had in hand!!! it was either to fit in the box or a drive from Brooklyn to CT but one way or another it was going to get on time to you!!!!

we are staying at Embassy Suites.

Hoping we can actually get out of here. It is snowing now pretty bad. As long as it stops tonite and is clear for takeoff it can start again once we leave.

we found my camera however everything is packed so will get pics once we are wearing all the clothes. and we purchased a video camera also so now we should be all set.

just gotta get thru today. I'm at work til 2, PT when ever I can get there and hoping to be "in bed" by 8 sleep sometime soon after. Driving home should be fun. Normally a 45 minute drive will probably be 2 hours today.

Don't know if i'll be back before we leave so another great big THANK YOU to the Big Givers and everyone who has sent well wishes.
