Are the tickets for the princess meet n greets onboard transferable? Say you end up not using them, can you give them to someone else? Or if you want to cancel them at the last minute, do you just go to Guest Services and let them know? Are there any penalties to not using them, since they're free?

You can give them away, if you like. There is no penalty for no-shows. But, if you know you will not go, I think it is courteous to let guest services know, in case there is a waitlist.

Yep, that's the plan. I don't want to hog them if I'm not going to use them, but I'd like to know that worst case scenario, I can just hand them off to someone at the last minute.

We had reserved 6 tickets for our party and ended up only using 4. We looked around for a while for another passenger to give them to and never could find anyone. We ended up talking to the CM taking tickets as people entered the line and he offered to hold them and allow someone in line with our tickets. Hope he found someone.

I know when we were there some people walked up, not even realizing ahead of time that these Meet and Greet sessions existed (unthinkable to DISers, I know) and asked if they could participate. The CM's responded, "We've had a bunch of cancellations and no-shows this morning and the lines are low, so sure." So I think that handing in your tickets will definitely help someone. But of course, giving them to someone is fine too if you can find someone.
