Princess Meal

I'll be taking my just turned three year old daughter in Early December. She is a princess fanatic! Is there a good option for a princess character meal?

We took our just turned three year old granddaughter last November to the Ariel's Grotto Princess meal. We went for dinner at one of the early sittings. It was very good and each princess stayed for a few minutes at our table and we got loads of photos. She was sooooo happy. Some of the girls at other tables had on princess dresses, but my granddaughter just had on a princess shirt and she was perfectly happy. They give everyone paper crowns to wear and the menu was actually quite good.

Our granddaughter who was about 18 months old at the time was interested, but she kept giving the princesses suspicious looks.

We have done Ariel's a couple times. It is a great place to eat and nice interaction with the princesses. It is TEN times better then when it was at Plaza Inn. Do be warned that it takes a while to dine here. Both times we were there almost 2.5 hours by the time we waited for our table even with PS.

Ariel's Grotto is a great choice for a character meal, especially if you're bringing a little princess with you. The food is great (you get to choose your 3 courses versus the other buffet character meals) and best of all you get to visit with the princesses without having to stand in line to get their autographs and pictures. We've done each at least once on our last two visits and will probably do it again in August. There is an indoor and outdoor seating. If you are partial to one over the other, have them put it down as a request when you make your resservation. We've never specifically requested outdoor, but we've gotten it both times. Do make priority seating arrangements before your trip. Bookings do fill up and even with your PS you may have to wait a bit when you check in like seattlebusymom wrote. We waited about 25 minutes before we were seated. I think your 3yo will enjoy it.

We didn't have to wait, but we choose the earliest seating. We got outside, too, and since it was November, they had heat lamps on all around, so it was very pleasant. I liked it not being a buffet, so that you didn't have to get up for your food and could stay at the table and enjoy the princesses. We got to see Sleeping Beauty, Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Jasmine, and Snow White. It seems like there was one more, but it wasn't Belle.

So, if we have a dinner reservation for 5:30, does it mean we won't get seated until around 6? Just curious.

In early December? I doubt it...I went in March during the first week of spring break and I waited maybe 5 min...10 at the most...
