Getting ready to go to Disney in a few days (saturday!!!) and trying to figure out how to meet everyone on the list! Merida, Rapunzel and Flynn are all important to meet, and that seems to mean we need to hit the Princess Fantasy Faire, right? But when do we go??

Feel blind, but where is it? Is it where Mickey and the Magical Map is? Haven't been since 2011 and I know princesses used to be in that location...

Thanks!

I believe that Rapunzel and Flynn are only out together after the Tangled show, and you have to watch the show to be able to get in line for them. It's a funny show, and if you like the movie, it may be worth watching. They will have a sign in front of Fantasy Faire with the show times. Disneyland.com says that Merida's meet and greet is by It's a Small World, but not sure if this has changed recently.

The "Tangled" show is adorable and only about 40 mins long I estimate and if you ask a CM before show they will grab you post show to do the meet and greet. It's at the Royal Theater in Fantasyland and only at the beginning of the day, so plan accordingly.

Merida comes out to the staged area before It's a Small World to the right. Ask a CM at that spot when she's scheduled so you don't wait in line and not have her show up for hours.

Have fun pixiedust:

Rapunzle and Flyn meet after their show, but they don't come out right away. We waited about 5 or 10 minutes after the show and most people left. The line will form to the right (the opposite side from the piano).

Merida no longer has her own meet n greet area near small world, but we saw her in the Fantasy Fair area, switching off with Belle. She wasn't inside the royal hall, but there's a little shaded area across from the theater where they had a line up form. We lined up to see her, and then they switched her with Belle, who we had seen the day before, so we ditched the line and went to see the tangled show. After we saw Rapunzle and Flyn, Belle was switching out with Merida, so we got into line and saw her.

Trying to figure out a strategy to meet Rapunzel and Flynn while dressed as mother gothel when on the day of our MHP. I guess I have to find out when the latest show is... I could go in earlier if they don't dislike me in my costume, since I am getting an annual pass.

They don't typically meet after their last show (today they had 3 shows, second one was at 1215 and would have been the last one they met after. Typically they will meet in the afternoon over by the wishing well or sometimes under the umbrella in PFF where Merida (and Belle in the morning) do their meets. I'm not sure how or if the party effects it though

As a fan of the more impromptu meetups of characters on the street, and only having experience with the Pixie Hollow M&G, I was skeptical of the whole FF deal. I'm a total convert, though after going through with DD5 and DS3. We hit it on a whim right before we took a mid-day break. Belle was out front a huge line had formed to see her, but the line to meet the three princesses was empty. The CMs were awesome: friendly, funny and charming to the kids. We saw Ariel (who is DS's crush), Snow White and Cinderella. Though neither of my kids most familiar or favorite, Snow White stole the show. She made the experience and it ended up being THE highlight of the day. I know most kids have a "must see" character, but, I will tell you, have faith in the CMs: they can put on a good show.

The Tangled show is 20 minutes and fun even for adults. Meeting them there after all but the last show is your best bet. I have seen them many times under the umbrella in the walkway into the faire area so you can ask if they will be there later but the show area is nice for pics with no people wandering behind you and pretty walls. Their meets other than after the show are based on so many factors like parades and mickey and the map, I wouldn't rely on other meets. You will have several minutes of waiting after the show if you can throw your costume over your clothes. You can't leave the theater area though, unless you get a cm to take pity and there are bathrooms just a few feet away
