I did not care for this at all. Well let me say this. I like the dance and story time stuff, but not the stand in a long line and have no clue what Princess you will get to meet thing. Did you know Prince Philip was a stand in one day. Yes Prince not princess.

I am so sad that Prince Charming is not to be seen with the mice anymore near the castle. I hope they "DL mgt" figure out that this was a ok idea and it should be changed ASAP.

I should also say that my girls 3 & 5 did not like waiting in an hour long line for princess they didn't care to see. They wanted to see Belle and Cinderella, but we missed them in the PFF by 10 minutes. (They left just before we got to the front of the line the CM told us.

Please change it DL mgt please change it back.

We decided to do Ariel's Grotto instead. I figure we killed two birds with one stone that way. DD did get her hair done and face painted, but we didn't have to stand in line to meet the princesses. The only princess we missed was Snow White, but we ended up getting a picture and autograph from her at Goofy's Kitchen!:)

a lot of the CMs are getting sick from the cold... just cant imagine them not getting sick wearing that less clothing... which may be why you dont see them the past few days.

I have to admit the waiting in the long line thing didn't go over with my Princess loving 6 year old. she even pointed out that they used to be in front of the castle and really enjoyed seeing them walk to their posts along the fence. She would get excited and line up for a specific princess. She also loved how they would sit down along the planter wall over by the Carnation stage and really talk to the kids. I think in her own words the fantasy faire setup didnt make her feel special. It was also kind of neat to have the storytime in the princess shop surrounded by all the books. Very intimate feeling. She loved that.

I think they should go back to doing this. I'm 22 years old and I don't have kids but I love the princesses. I'm not going to wait in a super long line and feel like a dork (because I'm not a kid) to have my picture taken with a princess. When they're standing in front of the castle with no "official" line ropes and whatnot ppl like me don't feel so stupid meeting the princesses.
My DH and I stood over the fence and took pictures of the princesses instead of waiting in the lineup. But then we got yelled at for doing that.

Where can I find a link to see how much these things cost? IE Ariel's Grotto and the PrincessFantasy Faire.

FLOP here too! We will never waste time waiting in line for that again!

My daughter really enjoys it, but we never wait in the line to see the princesses. We see them at Ariel's Grotto or somewhere else. With that pressure off, she loves to decorate the crown, dance down by the stage, listen to the stories given by the princesses, and dance around that ribbon pole! I do think they could do more with it. The face painting is a hit, and the hairstyling looks like fun but that stuff all adds up since they have a seperate charge for that. A nice place to rest and color though! And that part is free. ;)

FLOP FLOP FLOP! My mother and dd waited in line for over 45 minutes, and the line never moved! They finally gave up and my dd never did meet a princess on our last trip.

I want the princesses back in front of the castle where they belong! Oh, and I really miss the Character Close-Up in the Animation Studio. You always could see at least one princess in there.

I have two boys so I can't see it being a big hit with us. The only thing I was thinking would be good is that they can get some hands on action like decorating something. We'll see in March.

I vote Flop. We opted out of waiting in the long line and when over to do the hair and facepainting. Unfortunately they used the same set of combs on the childreb and I have a letter into Disney on this, but no response.

The show was cute.

Where is this? We have been to the story telling inside the princess shop inside the castle but I've never heard of this?

So do they no longer do the meet and greets around the castle or read the stories in the princess shop? We *loved* seeing the princesses that way!

No, they no longer do princess greets in front of the castle, nor do they do storytime in the Princess Shop.

All the princesses have been moved to the Fantasyland Theater where they have Princess Fantasy Faire. It has made for horribly long waits to meet a princess. They have royal coronations, princess storytelling, and crafts there, but there is no schedule posted, so you have to ask a CM what times they are, or just kind of stumble across it at the right time.

My brother just got back last night and said it was definitely a flop! Long, long lines even though the park itself was dead. I can't believe they took out the Snow White Show and replaced it with this. Very disappointing. They'll probably book more character meals now which I guess was the whole point. Again, very disappointing. And I can't believe they don't do the meet and greets in front of the castle, which they have done for years. I guess Snow White's Wishing Well is without its princess now.

Well, that's a bummer, but I guess I'm glad I know about it now before our trip in March so we're not disappointd then! We had lots of great pictures of our girls around the castle with Cinderella and Princess Aurora from our last trip, and always made a point to hear the princesses tell their stories in the princess shop. I'm not sure we'll do this princess faire, but if it's the only way to really meet with the princesses, I suppose we probably will! :)

In October we went and waited in line for about 35 minutes. When we first got there I knew Snow White was in there which is who my daughter wanted to see. After about 5 minutes in line we saw Snow White leave. We continued to wait in line and luckily when we got up there it was one more change and Snow White came back. We had Aurora, Snow White and Mulan. Before was Pocahautis (spelling on that is wrong sorry) so if we would have had her my children would have been bummed.

The show itself personally I thought was a little lame but I liked the place for the kids to color and make crowns, it gave them a moment to just relax and chill out for a bit.
