Princess Dresses at TDS now 50% off lowest price(x-posted on Families bb)

I thought I would let you know that halloween costumes, including princess dresses (not sure about Cinderella) are now 50% off lowest price. I bought a Belle dress (yellow) for $9.99. Sizes were limited... mostly xs and small and then bigger sizes. Also accessories were discounted. I bought princess shoes for about $3/pair. And Cinderellas and Ariels tiaras were approx $1.50. I bought a bunch of things for my dd to play dress up. Happy Shopping!

I am not very experienced at posting and was curious: does TDS stand for The Disney Store? If so, do you live in the U.S. or in Canada?

We are scheduled to arrive at the Coronado on December 1st, so will be there at the same time as you. We are going all out to surprise DD 8 years old. We are telling her tomorrow night to start an unbelievable 10 day countdown.(DH and I have been planning since February, so we are about to burst!)

Hi Nuts... yes, TDS is The Disney Store and we're in the US but not that far from you(upstate NY). And I'm half Canadian. My grandparents used to live north of you in Barrie and I spent a lot of time up there.

We are arriving at the Coronado on Dec 1 as well. It was a last minute trip we started planning in Sept and I can't believe my countdown already says 11 days. I'm not even close to being ready. We are having a adult only trip while my children stay with their grandparents. We will be taking them in Feb so they can't complain too much!

How are you telling your daughter? I'm sure she'll be sooooo excited.

Hi J&ADisneyMom:

I have written a poem to cover each day of the countdown and have purchased cards and gifts that pertain to the subject of the poem each day and give them to DD each evening.

The very first night we had her sit at the table with her eyes closed and placed and Winnie the Pooh hat box in front of her with the "Day 10" card on top and lots of treasures inside. She ran around the house screaming for ages! We also ordered a custom Disney T-Shirt with Mickey on it with another poem I wrote with Mickey asking "who is going to see me soon?"

Well, tonight will be "Day 7" which is all about Princess Heaven. I know...not hard to tell that DD is an only child.

Oh, how cute!! It's so wonderful to see the excitment on their faces. My two are still pretty young but they get excited about seeing Mickey and I give them new shirts and PJ's too. I just love planning our trips! Have a safe trip!! See you in Orlando!!
