Princess Dresses - A different question

I know someone out there can help me. We just returned from our WDW trip in which DD wore her beloved Aurora dress all over MK and Epcot. Needless to say, I need to wash it. Can I put in the machine on gentle and then line dry? Anyone have any tips for this? Do they wash okay or will that be the end of the princess dress?

I do it on the handwash cycle of my washing machine. I hang it to dry, I havent dared try the dryer yet. DDs have come out fine!

I have washed the Disney princess dresses, and they have been fine!

My machine does have a handwash option, but I don't know how different this is from the gentle cycle. I do line dry them.

I handwash my dd's in the sink and line dry. They have been fine.

I washed ours in the bathtub. Easier to sperad out all that tulle. I line dried and was fine, but it shed glitter all over the tub!

I wash them on gentle and line dry - no problems at all.

I tie ours in a jumbo pillowcase and wash it on gentle. Then hang to dry. I don't know why I do this, other than my Mom used to do it with my stuffed animal that was a million years old and she was afraid of him falling apart.
