Hey Dawn!
We went to Kohls today too! How funny. My dd wanted a pair of jeans on sale for $31.99 and I was like thats not a good sale! lol
I'm excited for your trip!! I can't wait to read all about it. It makes me and my girls not miss it as much. Hard to believe we were there last month, they already want to go back!
We're totally on board with matching outfits!
You know that's half the fun during our trips!
Once the master schedule is done and ADR's locked in, it's all about who is going to wear what and when!!
All the planning from adrs to what to wear just adds to all the excitement, doesn't it?!![]()
Definitely!
We need something to do for the next 5+ months...
Lovw Kohl's.....just got my 30% off coupon in the mail. August 11th - here I come and I will hit every Kohl's in a 30 mile radius!![]()
Congrats on getting ViaNapoli! I hope you enjoy it!
We have several Kohls in our area and might have to check out the deals at the 2nd closest one todayHow nice of your grandma to send the kids some new things! The bargains there are hard to pass up!
We don't get our picture taken as a family too often so our vacation pics become the "family pics". Everyone coordinating makes the pic look a little nicer. Also since there are only 3 of us it's not too hard to manage.
My daughter was supposed to do one, she keeps starting then stopping it. I wish she would, it would be fun for her and so many weird things kept happening that it would be fun to read. Her screenname is peterpanlover96, we should stalk her and tell her to do it. lol
trust me......it was a trip that had one thing after another!!!
I am going to try to get her to do it! Or maybe we could do a duo trip like you and Caitlin. It's fun to read it from both perspectives!
We're now in the TEENS!The count is now at 19 days!!! It is feeling so close! We still haven't gotten our ME tags and after reading that MaryEllen got hers, and she travels 2 weeks after us, I think I need to call on and check on them. I know we are in their system (we do have an awesome Travel Agent afterall
) but if they don't come then we have to do the checkin at the airport and who wants to waste time with that?
Whenever we start getting close to a Disney trip I get all sentimental and start flipping through all our photo albums of past trips and remembering all our great times. Well the other day I found an album I hadn't looked at in years! It was from 2003 and Caitlin was 12.5 and after looking through the album I realized why it had been hidden away. Caitlin, our ever smiling cheery PrincessCaitlin, looks absolutely miserable in almost every picture! She totally looks like we dragged her there kicking and screaming
I told her, "our Dis friends would never believe these were you"
Why was she so miserable? I think simply because she was 12.5 which just seems to be the most unpleasant age for girls.
What's funny though is Dale, my mom and I all look like we're having the time of our lives and seem completely oblivious to her mood![]()
The lesson from my story:if your DD reaches 11-13 and seems to think Disney is no longer for her, don't give up! When she outgrows that stage she just might find the magic again!![]()
