so any pics of the brekfest or reviews would be apeciated :lmao: :rotfl:

Let me ask you this.

Do you want to have your pictures taken with the princesses?

Or do you want to have breakfast where the princesses come to your table and then get your pictures taken with them there?

If you just want the pictures, you can see the princesses at the Fantasy Faire, sometimes out by the main Disneyland entrance, and sometimes over by the Hyperion in DCA. This costs no money(except for the park tickets you've already paid for to get in).

I've had some nice interactions and fun pictures with Princess Aurora:love: , and I've never had to do a character meal to get those pictures.

Jade, I've heard repeatedly that the food at Ariel's is not all that good. The breakfast, from what I've read, isn't a buffet and it isn't a menu. They have platters of things like pastries and cold meats on your table, and they bring out hot eggs and meats and such. So it's sort of a cross of a normal restaurant and a buffet at your table. :upsidedow But I've never heard the food was all that terrific.

ya its supose to be like chesse and meats and pastrys and eggs (i dont eat but the rest the family dose) and other things fruit i think i saw in the pic not sure tho wher ethose pics went.

I dont know im kinda bummed to think we might not do it becouse how bad the food was there before. lol and now how excpincve it is for brekfest just dosent add up.. I wish DISNEY would change the chefts over there or the menus lol

Idk i want to see the princess and I loved how they interacted at our table.
I lvoed the photo we got with ariel and stuff but ijdk yet if i want to cancle this i mean it would be 85dollers or more pluse the 32 for the pic lol i guess its good i found out early so that i have time to figuer out weather or not to do this..and we never went to the princes fair whats it like would my son enjoy it?

Does your son want to see the princesses? If he wants to, he could probably deal with the line. The Faire area has a few things to do, but the meet/greet is the only part with a line. :) You get to meet 3 princesses, but you do not get a choice, and you don't know who you will meet. While we were waiting in line Cinderella came and went, and Mulan was back there but left before we got there. So we met Belle, Pocahontas, and Princess Minnie. They will not let you stand to the side to wait for different princesses.

The line, well, we waited about an hour, and that was a chilly afternoon in December.

The other thigns to do over there are crafts (coloring pages, and a crown with stickers), there's the coronation ceremony which includes the princes as well as the princesses, and a little storytime by a princess (you won't know which one ahead of time). There's also a little store, and a counter service place with sweet treats and things like bratwurst.

My guy was 3.5 when we met the princesses and listened to a story, and when he was 4 he had fun doing crafts. When we heard the story, he was asked to be part of it, and got to dance with Aurora.

It's all dependent on your son, if he would enjoy some of that! :)

he may not sit dosn an listen to the storie but hed love to get a crown and coloring pages lol
Is we dont go to lunch im ure he could handle the line and hed like it maybe wed meet others he hasnt like mulun lol there are alot he hasnt seen

princess mini was at lunch when we were there

Do you actually get to meet Aeriel at Aeriel's Grotto in DCA? My daughter absoutley loves Aeriel and if she only meets 1 character the whole time we are in DLR it won't matter to her as long as it is Aeriel.

The interaction at the Fantasy Faire is fun if you're just looking to meet the princesses. I don't think it's much different from the character meal except that you get them all at the meal and you only get 3 for at the fantasy faire. Like bumbershoot said, you have very little control over who's there, although a CM told me that Cinderella, Snow White, and Aurora usually do the last meet and greet of the day at PFF since they're "Walt's Princesses".

I'm an adult and have had fun interactions with them. Snow White asked me my name and called me Prince. When I met Aurora, I bowed before her and she curtsied back(just like she does in the film when she sees her parents after Phillip wakes her up). She then called me Prince and asked me to take her hand and drop to one knee for the picture.

I've also had nice interaction when I met Aurora near the Hyperion in DCA last June. The character meal option offers the fun of having a meal with the princesses, but if you just want to see princesses and don't really care who you meet, the fantasy faire is a less expensive way for you to do it.

Depending on when the Tink meet and greet opens, you may be able to meet Ariel as a mermaid in Disneyland. The only catch is that the Tink area will be replacing the clamshell where Ariel currently meets guests sometimes this fall.

We will be going to Dl form 24-28th and have breakfast on the 26th @ Ariels..I will take pictures for you if you want!! I have only had lunch and dinner there, have never liked the food, but DD loves it (for the princesses) so we go for her. I am hoping the breakfast is better than lunch n dinner!!!! We also do the princess faire.. she loves that also.. DS is to young to care yet (20months) he does like to flirt with the princesses... if no one else has pictures I will gladly take some for you!!

yes ariel is who is at the front you get pics took with her and they cost 32 dollers i really do want to do it just need to see pics of the brekfest stuff again and reviews lol

(looked in search cant find what ones i did see lol)

Disneyluvbug that would be grate ty so much yes that would help. yes i agree the lunch was bad i hated eatting a hamburger couse it was the only thing i even though looked good but man could barely eat it the bread was so hard (i think it was sour dou or something lol

$32 for a photo...WOW!!! That would have to be the most expensive photo in the whole DLR. Oh well, I may have to bite the bullet on that one since she loves Aeriel so much!

Not a problem at all!!! I had the pot pie last time for dinner and did not eat it.. the kids eat fine with the mac n cheese option.. It's no goofys kitchen but it should be interesting!!!

ty ty and my dh had the fish and chips i took a bite and i liked it i guess if i had to do lunch id get that my son didnt eat his food id think he liked it

sy ariels goofys and i guess lilo has the front charcter pics 32dollers 5/7 and then 4 wallets when we were there

Breakfast at Ariel's is served family style. You get a platter w/eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and you all share. You also get a smaller 3 tiered plate w/cheeses, pastries and fruits. It was good but it was $$ and we liked the choices at Minnie's better. We prefer to do lunch or dinner at Ariel's.
And you do see Ariel at her Grotto, she is in a dress and you can either buy the picture they take or simply have the photographer use your camera to take a picture. We have done both.

OK question about the breakfast. Do they let you in the DCA early? I would hope so, because... Who eats breakfast at 10:00am

When I called at 60 days out (which, they told me, was a day after I could have booked as it is 2 months, not 60 days...which is different than what I was told by Disney Dining for our September trip!) I got a 9:40 PS. I don't think they go much earlier than that, but I could be wrong.

which, they told me, was a day after I could have booked as it is 2 months, not 60 days

I have been trying to stress this on these boards but everyone here seems fixated on the 60 days number. 2 months people!!! :thumbsup2

What time do they open the front gates to DCA? They don't do a MM in DCA do they?

we did the princess breakfast last year and yes you do get in early to DCA our time was for 8:30 I belive it was one of the 1st reservations. they told us to go the DCA gates no later than 8:10 (trying to remember exact times) and someone would escort us in. when it was time they told us to follow the signs to Ariels. after we were done it was like 9:45 and when we had to stay close by or head back to the main gate until 10am we tried to go down by the sourdough bakery at like 9:55 and a CM told us we couldn't venture off the main path until 10am sharp. it was neat being inside the park before anyone else.. I am not happy with the prices of their food but it's worth it to us so our girls can see the princesses and have a minute or two with them.. the breakfast food was not that bad overpriced of course but worth it!
